Only thing safe is gold. Even “Minor” mideast conflicts caused gold to decouple upwards from the market.
I don’t like gold personally. I can’t stand “gold bugs”. But, these charts are hard to argue with. IF Korea/Iran don’t stabilize very quickly—gold can only go flat or up—-regardless of the coming dollar rally.

My willd guess is that he was joking. But communication is confusing on the Internet sometimes. On the phone, voice tone might tell U if someone is kidding or not,. Or in person they might have a big grin on their face. But on the Internet, who knows what the typer of the messages is doing? They could be jerking off, committing suicide, anything, and U might not be able to tell. They could be 10 years old, or 98 and Alzheimerish. I love the Internets but they do have their limitations.

You know what I don’t get at all, Why do so many Fund Managers want to be spoonfed so much? None of them seem to do any work at all, and I don’t count them reading Spoonfed stuff work at all. IMHO the research is the funniest part of all of this….I love how all the moving pieces come together…sort of like a Picasso or a perfect Basket in Basketball, etc…..but that is just me, and I am a bit strange…
Many fund managers have an IQ of 100 or below. They are “Fund managers” because they trust fund babies, and don’t like working more than 10 hours a week.
When someone hires U, they tell U what your job it. For fund managers it is doing nothing. I guess it must be like CNBC anchor. You have to pass the mirror test (be able to fog up a mirror) and then you must have to be related to or friends with the right people, because anybody off the street would gladly do that job, and yet only some folks are able to get it. Personally I think they should have to hire homeless people who really need the salary.
