I do agree at some point tbe market will go higher. For now companies are not hiring, they are scared to. People can only take so much of a squeeze and were approaching those levels, we will go one way or the other.

All of these companies are squeezing the employees and slashing to decrease costs. At some point, mistakes will be made, productivity will slip, employees will go postal from burning the candle at both ends. There is only so much fat that you can trim until you hit muscle and bone. What happens when the people you lay off are the ones bringing the income in. All of the psuedo profits are going to plateau and then what? People will look around in 6 months and realize 1/4 of the people are unemployeed, underemployeed or just said fuck it and are retiring early. Look at what one mistake caused BP. Now imagine shit like that happening everywhere. The next year should be very interesting when all over America 1 person is doing 2 or 3 people’s jobs.
