I’ve been thinking of putting up a burlap-clad Bhudda (Chinese style, of course, not the fat, happy Indian one) in my home. If I get up in the morning and her face is covered with “flied” rice then I will sell short with great vigour (sic), but if I wake up and her face is smothered in good ol’ American Bar-Bee-Que sauce, I will know to buy stocks with wylde abandon.
IMHO it’s all AAPL at this point.
One of the major themes I’ve learned from this site over the last year is the power of creative hedging. Heavily bot into SD, but countered with a sizable position in DRV down in the $6 range. I’m crap on trading the 3x funds (day or swing) but they do make killer hedges. The reading/learning paid off today. Thanks be to the Fly.

Yesterdays’ Closing OEW Report:
“We expected this short term rally would take five Minor waves to make it to the OEW 1136 pivot. But it has only taken three thus far. As long as support holds at the OEW 1090 pivot we’d expect the SPX to finished out the Minor 4/5 within the range of the 1136 pivot. Should that support break it’s likely we advanced in an abc Intermediate wave A. Then after the Intermediate wave B pullback another abc Intermediate wave C rally should follow to complete Major wave B of Primary wave II. ”
We just completed minor wave4 at the 1090 pivot gentlemen … prepare to rally back to the 1136 pivot on minor wave5 then get short in earnest for Major WaveC which should take us to 950. Thereafter we have Primary Wave3 (the best leg of the bull market) to look forward to ….
50% Fib line is 1088 and the 62% Fib is 1077 …. betting that 1088 holds for the day
