Do you know this weekend, which is a 3 day one, I will be learning PPT…and first thing I want to look at is FLS and it’s numbers with this rally………I wonder if fly is still holding it? And at what number it as at with this rally……………… For today, GDP and Kansas Fed Report seems to be lost in noise of a Oily OZ love fest with China/europe…..eur/usd is at levels sellers came in to sell the rally over the last week or so…..and Fly’s Eur/JPY is toppy at 112….this puppy has to have true buyers coming in right now cuz we are at the crossroads….

ATPG is selling off due to the announcement of moratorium by good ole’ Obama. Right now many people are unsure if ATPG’s wells are subject to the ban. From what I know though. ATPG has already drilled and cased the wells it needs to reach its production curve. It just need to reenter them, not drill further. If this is only a 6 month ban, ATPG will not be affected. If strict legislation comes through that smaller players in the GOM can’t operate in deepwater, then companies like BP, who caused this whole fucking disaster will win, even when it looks like they are losing. That, or BP will go BK and XOM and RDS and other super majors will win. ATPG isn’t completely fucked yet. Outside of their reserves, they have the Cheviot field (not in the GOM) and non-reserve assets worth $900mm or more (Titan, Innovator 50% stake, and Telemark pipelines).
It appears the government has decided to anally-rape the whole industry when it was the fault of a bunch of retarded monkeys at BP and Transocean.
And yes, I am bitter because I am long ATPG in size…..
