Downtrodden SandRidge Energy Inc. [[SD]] is acquiring one of my favorite independent oil and gas companies, Arena Resources, Inc. [[ARD]] , for $40 per share—representing just a 17% premium to Thursday’s close. Due to the deal, I expect arb players to short the shit out of SD’s shares—limiting any upside breakout. However, long term, if they can close this deal without a larger outfit stepping in with a better offer, this will change the way Wall Street looks at the share price. Ultimately, SD is going much, much higher.

Those huge double tops in $EEM and $EFA are still in play on daily charts–and the nasdaq is unable to test thursday highs. Im thinking we end the week down 3-400 points from here–at minimum. I didn’t flip bullish to bearish last week, after 4 months, for nothing. I have a………….. “feeling”
