Finally, the funding crisis for Flotek Industries, Inc. [[FTK]] is over, albeit with horrendous terms. However, they now have a lifeline through 2012 (just in time for the end of the world). There is absolutely no reason, whatsoever, for the stock to remain in the 1’s. With the new cash, the company can focus on its chemicals and drilling parts businesses.
Out of my longs, I favor [[CBD]] , SandRidge Energy Inc. [[SD]] , Adobe Systems Incorporated [[ADBE]] and Brocade Communications Systems, Inc. [[BRCD]] the most, based upon valuation. My [[TLT]] position just paid another .38 divvy and [[VXX]] is the biggest piece of shit known to mankind, even more so than [[SRS]] .
It’s April! The sun is out and the trees are fixing to drive people crazy, via egregious bouts of allergy attacks. Seasonally speaking, Weatherford International Ltd. [[WFT]] , TriQuint Semiconductor [[TQNT]] , Southwestern Energy Company [[SWN]] , Ultra Petroleum Corp. [[UPL]] , Sociedad Quimica y Minera (ADR) [[SQM]] , amongst others, should outperform over the course of the next 30 days. Somehow, someway, I will put my pessimism aside and add a few positions to my current “pastiche.”
BREAKING: After being escorted from the iBC HQ, Mr. R.W. Pelican was seen partaking in the most egregious actions possible.

Ive been bullish on swings since december, and was bullish as late as friday afternoon on stocktwits.
But, ive got a strong “dead zone” type feeling that this week, is the top.
I think these sanctions are alot more bearish for oil than anyone realizes.Russia’s agreement to back sanctions means Israel just had their hands tied until late fall–at the earliest.
I think EEV will make a fast dash for 12.00 again.

Jake, regarding the write-offs: I haven’t heard that anywhere, just thought about the possibility after reading the wsj. Are the auditors for Boeing or AT&T independent and objective, or are they able to help the corporation fudge its sheets? After the sub-prime debt fiasco it seems anything is possible. Finally, the whole thing is dealing with a repeal of “double dipping” the tax deduction of a federal subsidy- from what i understand, that seems like a good idea, anyway. am I missing something?
Short answer: no, the remaining unindicted un-blown up and unsued to death Big Four don’t have much interest in abetting fraud for their clients.
