By now, most of you know Scott as the gentleman on iBC’s homepage (or his blog), where he simulcasts his morning radio show. Well, in case you didn’t know, Scott has been running a successful newsletter for many years, on his site CreateCapital.com. Now, with the help of the Godly folks from iBankCoin, he is launching a new service here, which will include added features, such as instructional videos, frequent posts and pie throwing contests (I kid).
The main reason why I convinced Scott to join the iBC team is because he is a professional. I do not use that term loosely. In this business of asset management, many claim to be professionals; but in reality, most are nothing more than 2-bit salesmen. I remember Scott from the old CNBC days, when he would nail one tech stock after another. And, more recently, I remember Scott from the Fox Bulls and Bears show (where he was a co-host), when he accurately called the credit crisis and a plethora of short ideas. Basically, Scott knows how to navigate the market, whether it be from the long or short side.

ISLN just keeps poping. Buying since last spring. Premier storage solutions for an ever increasing demand for file based storage.
FCX finally made it back to $80+, scaled out of 1/2 position and holding final 1/2. Copper has been flagging over the past 6 days near January highs. Volume on the move up for copper has been very nice. With that said, FCX is looking a bit tired here, as are others such as MTL (bearish piercing with divergence), SLW, ABX (bearish divergence with weak volume), XME (divergence with low volume), etc. The Chinese sell off of metals is underway. May be wise to wait for a healthy retracement in prices before bulking up in these, and other names.

USU still rising nicely – now sitting comfortably above the $5 level. Volume last week on the push up above the $5 level was very nice (Borat voice). The pullback to test the 20 ema week before last was accomplished on very low volume. Continuation up to the $6.50 level is ahead of us.

DNDN made a nice continuation push up last week on heavy volume ($35.43). We finally broke the gravitational pull of $30. $40 here we come! Been holding since $5 with the equity, loaded up on $40 2012 LEAPS at the $27 level. Plenty of room to run on this one.

QID – yes, I am still holding from last week. Not too much damage done. I loved the way the market closed today on weakness. I am not looking to be a hero here. Stops are in place on this one and I will hit the sidelines if need be. However, with that said, I am still in the bearish camp over the next couple of days.

Scott’s newsletter is separate. However, PPT subs get discount.
PPT 2.0 is all about expanding the community aspect of the service, via insane tools. And, expanding the already effective algorithms and introducing new services.
