The stock Gods favour The Chart Addict, as evidenced by Josh’s swift decapitation. I single out Josh, not because he is a douchebag doomsday circle jerker; but because iBankcoin must be held to a higher standard than other blogs.
If you choose to be a vocal commenter/blogger on iBC, you better bring your A game, else deal with the consequences. With regards to Josh, he will never be heard from again, since he is now banned from the iBC penthouse and oversized refrigerator. I am sure he will find a new home, like one of the queer TIM sites, that he can call “home.”
Quite frankly, this whole ordeal was rather embarrassing for Josh. I am sure he is pleased with his gruesome, but necessary, decapitation.
As for today’s trading:
I made buckets of coin. Shit, I am going to celebrate this weekend, via buying a new car. What are you doing?
In short, a few of my stocks enjoyed “key reversals,” including FTK, ENTR and SFE. For the day, I was up more than 4%, due to my uber bullish position, now with just 5% in cash. My gains, year to date, are north of 57% and my pimp hand is stronger than yours.
If you are interested in gaining access to all of the tools at my disposal, join The PPT; you will not be disappointed.

Some respect for the dead…the guy’s name was J0sh1ngU (I think).
Shit, I am going to celebrate this weekend, via buying a new car…
You need a new car, the Flymobile is a POS. Better hope they still have that “cash 4 clunkers” thing going.
Best
so can josh just not post comments or can he not visit the site altogether?
he cannot access site.
unless via proxy
Care to share with us which car you’re getting? Maybach?
Does that wackjob Sierra guy know anything about computers?
I’d get Gappy on the job. DNS attacks are prosecutable now, y’know.
_____________
I hear you can get a great deal on that Chrysler AstroVan you’ve had your eye on.
Don’t let them stick you a charge for “undercoating.”
Good luck!
I banked coin today
Maybachs are big German pumpkins that drive around to black tie events with lonely queens in their back recliner seats.
Josh, you douchebag, you just got bitchslapped!
Long live IBC, the best damn blog on these heah internets!
Fly is supreme emperor.
Fly what’s up? How are they attacking the site? Is it just one IP or does it look like a botnet attack (ie. random IP’s). Are they just requesting the URL or attacking other ports? Let me know ([email protected])if you need any help, after all I am an expert when it comes to security.
In market news I fucking smoked commodities today. Just look at DXO finish at the highs. Thanks to Fly I went levered long via e-minis for the squeeze. Indeed I am feeling good as I closed out the minis for a quick yet large gain. Keep watching for geopolitical bullshit to transpire though while riding this rally if it continues, although this was a markup day.
And now I have to explain to my co-workers, not just the first burst of laughter at Wile E. Coytoe, but the second one from Anton’s obituary.
As we all tried to tell Josh, over and over, it wasn’t about his market calls nor his charts, it was about the (lack of) quality of the writing. Articulate motherfuckers only need apply.
We may well retrace that last-hour WTFery in just about every chart come Monday morning, but May has been good to me, and this weekend shall feature a bottle of cab, a rib-eye slab, and something to work off the flab.
Hes getting The Limo Trabant, so all the PPT subscribers can get drunk this weekend:

I should have joined PPT instead of solely chasing women this spring. Now I realize you can do both. Lurid details of decapitation are a bonus of hanging around here.
I hear GM makes great cars. Check ’em out. 1 share of stock for every dollar you spend on a car this weekend.
A 24 year old man who coudn’t grow a ‘stache? That’s sad.
Now I feel kinda bad for Josh1ngU.
Josh1ngU shaves with a haring!
Not unless a milk mustache counts.
But Josh is partial to “Strawberry Quick,” so that, in itself, is problematic.
Speaking of which, have you seen that awful milk ad w/Dara Torres?
They made that woman look like Frankenvestite. Those ads are the worst,
but that one takes the prize.
Okay, it’s happy hour somewhere.
A memorable weekend to all.
Anonymous spells with a bowl of alphabet soup!
Good day, Sirs.
[J0sh1ngU’s Motto]
I apologize for being off topic but:
My future wifey (in 4 months) works for a broker/dealer where their employees have a mandatory 60 day holding period before they can sell a stock/option/etf after buying it (unless you are down 15% or more). She tells me that once we’re married I am also subject to those restrictions!!!! How egregious is that!?! I hope she is wrong – does anyone else maybe have some insight on this?
Anon — that could be company policy, but I don’t think it’s SEC policy.
So the question would be how much you feel like toeing your wife’s company’s line.
___________
YTD I am up 6%, heavily weighted in utilities stocks (80%)
Buy and hold worked here. The mad money trades this year kept me from being much higher due to some emotional trades. Live and learn I guess.
Devildog should be banned as well, he said yesterday “SPX 804 before 2nd June”
Tuesday, like thats gonna happen. Not exactly A game stuff is it.
@ Jake, yes, its her company policy, not SEC policy. She has a good job and doesn’t want me to poss get her in trouble. I cant believe it!! Ugh, so pissed!! I have 4 months left of trading!?!? Just when I’ve been starting to make some kick ass moves with the help of the PPT… unreal.
Fly, pick us up in your new Tata car. My wife says she needs a real meal, so we are spending big bucks on a dollar menu.
this is my first time at this site. I followed a link from ZH. Ican’t believe what a bunch of completely materialistic and money grabbing tossers you all are! There are some serious financial problems in the US at present and your greatest collective contribution appears to be the purchase of one shut car with psychophantic support. Talk about disappointing.
Wait a minute! You banned the Jos1gu guy/gal, and rightfully so.
But what about devildog? What value does the pooch add to the blog? I can write his piece every Monday AM.
As a matter of fact, here Fly, copy and paste: “S&P to new lows by end of June”. Then have Vince write some code to forward the month at the beginning of each month.
What gives? The pooch sent you a picture of his wife’s 34DD?
Regards,
Concerned Citizen
utoss – Indeud. This site hosts the best bunch of people on the internets. Please kind sir, do not judge before you get to know us. Good day sir.
I’ll sell you my Volvo.
The logic, as I’m sure you’re aware, is that the instant you tie the knot, you’ve taken on a lot of each other’s financial responsibilities, including each other’s conflicts of interest.
My first job out of college was working in IT at an institutional firm. One of the firm’s policies was that mutual funds were fine, but that immediate family members in the same household had to set up an account with the firm and clear their trades through Compliance if they wanted to trade individual stocks.
Because I was still living in the stereotypical parents’ basement at the time, I had to ask my parents. I felt really weird asking my parents to sign that piece of paper; it’s the same weirdness you feel — I understood that client confidentiality was sacrosanct, but why shackle them?
The thing is, these sorts of policies aren’t so much about protecting the firm from the SEC; the primary goal of these sorts of policies is to demonstrate to the the firm’s clients that the clients are being protected from the firm’s employees.
There’s an element of security theater to it; someone with malicious intent is always going to find a way around the Chinese Wall.
But there’s also an element of real security to it: If everyone in the household has to clear their trades with the compliance department, then nobody in the household is going to be tempted to trade ahead of the firm or its clients based on work that gets brought home. Someone might cross the line, but it can no longer be crossed accidentally.
There’s a world of difference between “I felt like buying some XYZ” (BZZT, compliance denies your trade, no harm, no foul), and “I knew compliance wouldn’t let the trade go through, so I called my buddy and told him to buy XYZ in his account, and if the trade worked out, to cut me in on the profits”.
For the client, if there’s no way to accidentally cross the line, there’s someone to sue. For the firm, if there’s no way to accidentally cross the line, the someone-to-sue isn’t the firm.
The Compliance Department tends to be a bitch about those sorts of things, but unfortunately, that’s their job.
I had it lucky — my parents don’t hold any individual stocks, just mutual funds, and at the time I was too poor to trade individual stocks except on paper, so it was a moot point.
You’ve got it a lot harder than I do. Personally, I’d just expand my time horizon. Stock charts are statistically self-similar. Print out some random 60-day charts and 60-minute charts, and cut off the symbols, timeframes and numbers, and try to tell ’em apart.
Most securities aren’t going to be on the compliance department’s no-trade list for any length of time. If they won’t let you invest in XYZ today, try ZYX tomorrow.
The volatility of the past 12 months has been the exception, not the rule. 60 days is hardly Warren Buffett “buy and forget”; although the commentary here tends to be focused on short-term trading, let’s not forget that people can – and have – banked egregious coin by investing as well as trading.
(Damn, I’m long-winded. Sorry ’bout that.)
Good luck, Anon. Talk to her about it. Do what’s right.
why is Josh banned anyways?
All you FAZ suckers, here’s your new crack: TMV.
Forget FAZ. That shit started pricing in the reflation trade two months ago.
De nada.
You need to go Braveheart and get married in the woods at night. Or grow some sack…don’t give up the greatest angle ever invented.
Josh – I told you I would win.
Al,
He was annoying as a bad dentist.

the fly wins again, how t f did u know about that squeeze.

Why the fuck would someone be so stupid to fuck with this site?
Jealously I guess?
Stoopat is as stoopat does.
Congrats on your continued success Fly.
I finally broke thru into profit zone for the year.
I am planning on busting thru last years 100% gains on my high 5 figure bullshit account.
Cheers.
Big mistake to head in the direction of banning alternative points of view.
TraderJoe,
Good point. However, I do belive “banning alternative points of view” is the new American way.
After all, those in charge must know what’s best for us. Right?
F
Fly,
You are so full of shit I bet shit comes out of you noise when you blow it.
FTK, ENTR and SFE didn’t have key reversals, they just followed the market buying spree at the end of the day. Monday will tell if these actually reversed or not. As far as I can tell you are about break even on these names based on the entry price you posted in your blog, even those posts are even accurate.
BTW, I agree that people are too bearish. It’s too bad you are flaming ass licker. 🙂
Fly
What did you do to my son? Ive never seen him so upset. At first, I thought he was in a fight with his girlfriend, FAZ. Im not sure how long hes been dating her for, but by the sounds of it, things havent been going well with their relationship. Ive heard Josh screaming at her almost daily the past few weeks. He must really care about her, I do feel bad–I just think she gives him a really hard time. I overheard him saying something about her going down on someone all the time. Maybe he caught her cheating on him? Ive heard him from up in his room throwing stuff and even punching the walls, especially today. When I went up to see what was going on, he pointed to your site and said he was banned. When I asked what he and his girlfriend were just fighting about, he said “Im not dating anyone”.
Im not sure what is going on. What I do know is that he is gtounded for a week and Im taking away his Wii.
mom
Equalizer – Thanks dude… youre right, I’m not going to intentionally be shady and put wifey’s job in jeopardy, although I am reading through her code of conduct to see if I def have to follow it!
John the Trader
Quit talking about your mother that way.
Trader Joe
I am not banning alternative viewpoint. I have DEVILDOG as a blogger here for Christ’s sake. And, gee, Danny, he’s been bearish since 1982.
I banned Josh for his RIDICULOUSLY bad market hand. He chose to be vocal. I gave him fair warning not to make such idiotic proclamations, such as WE WILL CRASH TOMORROW.
So, at the end of the day, he’s a loser. I have no time for losers.
Fly, understood man..but hey what is interesting is that after you banned him it was pile-on time, just like when all the rats in the cage start eating pieces out of the weak sick one until it is dead, just like when I was in a bar fight cut and bleeding on the floor and everyone stood aroound taunting me, kicking me, even people who had been my friends earlier, even the chick with the missing front tooth that I had earlier kissed. SO it goes, what a vicious species!
Fly:
Is there any chance say you could ban 1 cub a day for the next week. I know divergent views are good, however there are plenty of cubs around and it would be fun to watch.
And they’re all so freaking angry…. as well as having attitudinal problems.
“he’s been bearish since 1982.” lol, too funny…
I’m Up 79% YTD and 106% off my Jan lows.
Not bragging I’m just as amazed as anyone.
HENRY
nevermind
Fuck you Fly! Say it Bitch. I’m a man I can handle it.
Fly,
I’ve been banned! And for what? Calling out the fly on his shitty picks!
You say you aren’t suppressing view points, yet you ban me for calling your shitty trades out. I’m not nearly as vocal as Josh, or nearly as shitty as he is.
AsI said before you are full of shit. you sir, are a thin skinned weasel.
Teach me a lesson! Cause I’m the first to admit I owe most of my success to you.
that’s all
Well not most of my success because I had skills, but you were a beacon of light in the darkest of hours. That may sound like bullshit to many of you, but I’m dead fuckin serious!
John:
My two cents worth.
Doofus there’s a slight difference between having different views to the site owner and abusing the site owner. Do you know the difference or is that a little too nuanced for you?
Fly maybe you should take me on. I might be giving away too much FREE Fly lessons combined with my chart chomping abilities it really isn’t fare. Maybe it is I don’t know.
bernie’s wife
So the site owner can abuse his readers, but he can’t take it?
That’s what I would expect from this guy.
test test test….
Fool:
Not trying to be a spare dick at a wedding here. But I really don’t think you need a blog. You post your trade ideas as they happen throughout the day and your writing/grammar is atrocious more styled to the comments section than anything else.
Just keep doing what you’re doing.
Cuervos on the other hand would be more suited. He has excellent diction and is able to articulate pretty complex views and ideas. His abilities are sorely needed here as he would give the site a certain elan.
Think of it like this. You’re the hamburger with the lot while he’s the foie gras. Both are good, however there are plenty of burgers with the lot at this site and it needs a little high end culture.
john- imo i think if you were banned (were you?) it’s about the way you express yourself
rather than the points you are trying to make. i’ve only been following this site for
about 9 months now- but it is a community with a lot of very skilled traders. and when anyone new comes here i think it works better for them if we come with ideas and information that helps the board. almost all of the kidding around happens amongst posters who have all been here a long time and have helped make the board information valuable. from what i can tell from belonging to the PPT (which is terrific) fly works about 16-20? hours a day on ibc and ppt and has for many years. if i was him,
i would no doubt get easily irritated w people attacking me before they’ve brought
helpful input here. i truly hope my comments don’t make you angry reading this and that it makes some kind of sense to you. i would have sent this pm if there was a way. take care, lindsay
Am i banned? Hey Fly, thx for helping me clear my head the other day while you were “fixing your lawn”. I’m ready to coauthor that book with you anytime man. Still considering the video
blog spot.
Hey Fly Re: new blogger
What is the Goal of the cite?
Cuervos: The sum of the sigmas is ratio independent to the square of your nut bag if you buy Tuesday at 11am.
Henry Fool: Cha-ching, cha-ching, cha-ching.
Doing trumps theory every time. A pragmatic concerned reader.
@the first Anon:
Exactly. So long as you can find a way to follow the letter of the policy, you can also find a way follow the spirit of the policy. In the post-Madoff (hell, in the post-SOX) era, following the spirit of the policy is easier than following the letter. Honor won’t return to this game unless we, as players, bring it back, by following both. Thanks for doing your part.
Even if the policy means you do have to trade with handcuffs on, you find a way to trade with the handcuffs on: There are many styles of trading, and all of them are learned skills. Is it going to be easier to find a replacement style of trading (based on month-to-month macro numbers and quarter-by-quarter fundamentals, rather than hour-by-hour technicals), or is it going to be easier to find a replacement mate?
(And yeah, we’ve gotta do something about the occasional bug whereby the “Name” field gets pre-filled with a random visitor’s nickname.)
@Henry: Thanks for DVAX, IMGN, and probably a couple other names I’ve forgotten in all the excitement.
@Lindsay: A belated (you sure picked a busy day to get back in the trading saddle!) welcome back. I don’t know if it’s possible to buy some of oneself, but it sure beats selling oneself short. May plastic shoes shower thee with coin.
Slap chop bitch! ibankcoin is a better place without that fool. I always got pissed when I read his moronic posts, so full of unnecessary confidence for such an asshole.
Bravo The Fly.
Have I climbed Mount Everest? Yes.
