Since March 6, 2009 The dollar is down (vs a wide basket of other currencies) by 11%. In the same time the S&P 500 is up 32%.
normalized, that means the S&P is only up 21% from the bottom.
As well, the S&P has failed to rally significantly during the last 3 days while the dollar has continued to fall apart.
As rates on treasuries go up, there will be pressure to up rates on mortgages, that is not good right now.
