WTF, a plug for a company I know something about. Credit Suisse underwrote the IPO. I was there for several years… They grind up engineers and managers, a hardcore culture. Amazingly enough the stuff works and Broadcom just talks crap. I’ve been waiting for signs of silicon implementing MoCA 1.1 from them for years but nothing. I’m really proud of my PQoS work there: I haven’t heard the latest but that work put several patents in the pipe. As for insider info my peon level of importance gets nil but I’m positively encouraged by the scope pullback (two layoffs in last 8 months or so, strategically made).
Please pardon the public self pleasuring, I’m still a trader piker (albeit one searching gigabytes of technical/fundamental data with a Linux generic algorithm cluster; being a software quant is a shorter jump for me than going discretionary) so it’s nice to, for a moment, claim a little cred.
