Just so people here know, the underlying truth about the actual reality, aside from the lies and fuckery jacking falsely this market up right now (I however will ride it up with everyone else), but, reality has to set in soon. You see I live in a fairly big town located smack between Raleigh and Charlotte NC, here, houses are still not moving, I drive around and keep an eye on a select route and not one house that has had a sign in the yard over a year now has sold, in fact, one business lot has been for sale so long that the sign, made of wood has rotted and they had to make a new one. There is a development 2 miles from me that has 108 lots and all have had for sale signs in a row for 13 months now, not one lot has sold.
All of the sales that are recorded are either bank dumping foreclosues or people taking a massive loss to dump and get out from under (short sales) do not be fooled this shit is all rainbows and butterflies now. I am not the slightest bit convinced there is any light yet. Until I see new footings go into the ground and these already built new homes (sitting idle for 13 months now) get sold, shit is NOT better.
And lets not forget that housing started this mess and housing has NOT been fixed. The bad loans are still on all the banks books (marked to fantasy for making the bottom line falsely look great) hince the massive rally we have seen for 8 weeks…… seriously people, when have you ever in your life seen shit like this?
They are already talking the recession is over? Bullshit, the recession hasn’t even started, since when does the market drop 50% over the course of 12 months and within 6 more everything is fixed miraculously?
what the fuck is this? The 6 month recession? when the fuck in history has the DOW dropped from 14,000 to 6500 in 12 months and causing the biggest panic in 70 years and all is fixed within 6 months? Fixed by manipulation, and manipulating numbers is not a fix, it is a lie and will be brought to the surface soon.

yes, but… I am long in the market, but this is the most manipulation to falsely jack a market up I have ever seen.
The government does a wonderful job of lying and hiding the truth….look at JFK killing… so with that they might be able to hide the truth for years. I do believe they will jack this bitch to where they want, 10k where they will feel comfortable but shit, nothing has been fixed, it has been covered over with bondo and painted and as soon as it rains bubbles will appear, and the smart ones, who know a bondo buggy when they seen one will not be fooled by the car salesman. when this day occurs is up in the air, it doesn’t seem this day will be upon us any time soon.
I agree wholehearedly with Artist’s analysis and have been getting killed on the short side. I realized (albeit it very late) that this market is clearly not acting rationally and all the bs manipulation has been discounted. For the bulls in here, J/Free Trader, do you have a target as to how long this rally will last? It seems that we are heading straight to the 200 DMA on the SPY and I wonder if that is your target on this move?

But…the market keeps going higher and I bought shit load of FTK on guidos’ recomm. If I don’t make money on that I will have to make the dreaded Seattle-NY flight and FUCK him up and eat his food and dring his ambrosia…
