But I went down to the Farmer’s Market at the Ferry Building on Saturday and there was a really sad little protest, maybe 30 people, outside the Fed on Market St.
There were about a dozen of SF’s finest keeping an eye on things, but they might as well have been watching a baby napping. Zzzzzzzz. Saturday overtime on a beautiful day.
BTW, had breakfast at the new Perry’s down there next to Chaya; spotted former Deputy Nat’l Security Advisor Richard Clark seated on the patio, so I knew we were unlikely to be blowed up.

The actual trade is to be long Aussie Yen even though the Aussie is a fucked up currency. However the Aussie will go up as a result of increasing levels of global liquidity. You need to trade it or if you’re just positioning make sure you can absorb big corrections. However this cross is heading much higher.
I actually think the Aussie could end up going higher against the US dollar for a little while as global liquidity recovers and the Aussie is a terrific liquidity marker. So if the Aussie makes its way back to 90 cents at the US/Yen rate heads to 120 say you have a nice little double side cross earner.
