Great video. I can’t help it … got to comment on this one. The last statement in the video: “You need something you can’t work for. You need a blessing from God almighty.” What a profound statement. Just as “success” in this world is actually obtained from a blessing from God (someone gifted or talented) this principle is also true in the spiritual life. (I’m not getting all religious and shit just making an observation here.) That is, it takes the grace (unmerited favor / blessing) of God to reveal to us beyond what WE THINK is important concerning what we DO and DON’T DO everyday. Revelation is the Key … not DOING harder work for some BS temporary accomplishment and we get all proud and shit; or, we discipline ourselves,and follow some BS rules, and we think we are better than the other guy because we DON’T DO something and think we achieved a high level of obedience. Achieved Obedience? WTF is that? How much accomplishment and/or obedience is enough? There’s NEVER enough of it. There’s more and more laws adopted than ever and greater achievement is demanded (coerces pro ball players to take steroids). I guess the next thing is that we know we are “supposed” to love but “suppose to” is completely different than just loving. It’s insane thinking. Damn! There’s a lack of real life… too many facades and illusions in this world.
We need to find out that what will really make the difference in our lives is found SOMEWHERE ELSE. Revelation is the language of God that communicates to us. If you don’t think its available or its absurd then you will miss it. As the video shows, we need a blessing (revelation) from God to see through the facade, smoke-and-mirrors, and hear through the clutter in order to receive a revelation from God. If I may be so bold, As I trust God, I will ask for a revelation from Him.
