Hey assholes, when LTCM fell, the economy was on the precipice of furious economic expansion, ala dot com bubble. Things are quite different now.

Thank you for the clarification between BSC and LTCM. I was floating a tax-exempt bond issue when Long Term blew up and it raised the coupon rate from about 6% to the 13% to 15% range so we had to delay for 1 1/2 months. Thankfully it was only a money manager and not the economy.
