I don’t have much time to spend with you internet leeches. As you know, when the markets go up, “The Fly” is busier than you, banking profuse amounts of coin.
Thus far, today’s action is telling me the bears want no part of this market. The pendulum has swung—they are now on the run.
Instead of letting them get away, I suggest trying to kill them, via going long stocks with big short positions.
Short term, I anticipate squeezes in BWLD, VMI, LFT, FMCN, VMW (already underway), HANS and FTK.
As far as rolling dice is concerned, CFC looks good for a bouuncy bounce.
Off to do “way more important things.”

If we take the SPY as a proxy, volume was nothing special yesterday. RSI still in neutral zone. MACD crossed over yesterday. I bet the MACD never makes a big move above.

Yes it is different. Banks and their subprime mess are getting bailed out by private investment. Action on C and FRE is giving bulls (along with a most likely rate cute by the Fed) a massive erection. The minons are buying less, but the big boys don’t care about that at the moment. If you’re short, I suggest moving most positions to cash for now. Let Fly have this day to hit the pinata.
TWM…taking sugar on half the hedge position from my 11:54 am post today…protection in place…will be glad to stop out the rest at 68.50 for break even on the entire positon…having built a fairly low risk barbell the pressure is off and I can watch and plan my next attack.

I’m short via options, but not much. I want more when this rally fails.
By my count, I’ve seen private investment contribute maybe 20 billion to prop up a 400 billion problem. And the 400 billion may be too low, or too high an estimate. I believe things will continue to get worse. As things worsen there will be more bargains, and more money will flow in from private investment. I don’t think it will be soon enough to stop another move down through August lows.
I still don’t know what RRZ’s for.

BTW, I heard the White House says the economy is fine and growth will be steady in ‘08 for the election rally. I guess that means no rate cut? Oh…I forgot the fed is independent of the government and can, therefor, cut rates when economic growth is doing fine…lmao. You cows are so manipulated by the power elite as they sell out with help from the fed they paid for it’s just sad. Stay in those mutual funds in your 401K and you’ll do just fine as the markets go up over time. Over the last month, we’ve seen a lot of selling taking place in the last hour when the big institutions make their move. Strong opens followed by sell offs into the close. Tuesday and Wednesday , all the gains occured prior to final hour of trading. Doesn’t appear institutions were buying. We were extremely oversold and a bounce was on the cards. So the question is, if institutions are not buying is this rally sustainable ?
