All day, financials, homies, retail and drug stocks led the market higher, with big dicked gains in WF, ETFC, FNM, CORS, FIF, SPF, BZH, CC, BONT, CACH, AZN, NVS, BVX and SNY.
In short, I’d like to see people go out and “spend it all,” in order to burn the bears down to a crispy cinder.
They’re assholes (bears). They will soon feel the other side of the hot blade.

What an ideal combination – a low PE and an environment where folks are very skeptical and a gain over 10% is considered a great year. Back in 2000 folks acted as if it was their right to earn a minimum of 20% a year. Expectations are probably around 7-10%. Put volume continues to be strong and my sense is that the bears have overreached.
2008 is going to be a monster year and the rally that has just commenced will return The Fly and other die hard longs to Pimp Daddy status.
