Trade Idea: LDK

The solar space in on fire thanks to the report from First Solar, Inc. [[FSLR]]. LDK Solar Co., Ltd. [[LDK]] is siting right below its 200 day MA, and also happen to be forming a descending triangle. With further strength in the sector look for LDK to “BTFO”

After the bell on Wednesday First Solar, Inc. [[FSLR]] raised EPS guidance and the stock is up $8 in after hours, and today Potash Corp./Saskatchewan (USA) [[POT]] reports before the bell. Both companies are leaders in their industry, so watch for traders to take aim within the two respective sectors.

Suntech Power Holdings Co., Ltd. (ADR) [[STP]] is a stock I own in my long term portfolio. This solar stock is sitting right near support and offers a great risk/reward setup at this point. I like the idea of buying the stock here, while placing a stop near $12.50:

[[COIN]] is a agriculture chemical play that has been popping up on numerous screen inside The PPT. I will be buying this in size on further volume and strength in the sector:

Should be another fun day of trading, and by the way, American International Group, Inc. [[AIG]] to $6– ROFL.

I like The Mosaic Company [[MOS]] Intrepid Potash, Inc. [[IPI]] & ATP Oil & Gas Corporation [[ATPG]] here. I even like Netflix, Inc. [[NFLX]] down $4.

The regonal banks have been absolutely insane the past few weeks, see Frontier Financial Corporation [[FTBK]] . It looks like small cap oil could put on a similar run, as I am seeing signs of life everywhere, ie [[LEI]]

I caught Delta Petroleum Corp. [[DPTR]] early Monday morning, and I will continue to watch small cap oil here.

I am cautious of a pullback, but understand the market can still run further from here. When I start to see solar and agriculture names go ballistic to the upside, then that will be the time I load up on [[TZA]] .
