First, I would like to say that this is one fucked up market we’re in. Over the past few months I’ve seen and know people who have lost it all– 100%.
Trading is defiantly not for everyone. However, it is for me. I’d like to think I played this market like a space alien magician over the past few months. I have destroyed idicies when it comes to YTD returns, and I will continue to do so. Why? Because I work too damn hard at it.
While it’s true, the last few days have not been my best. But, who doesn’t have a few bad days.
If you care to have my opinion, I think it is up from here. I have no interest in shorting stocks at the moment, and may never again due to being caught in numerous upgrades. Note: I am out of all my shorts.
Financials are in rally mode, oil is coming down, things are looking up.

I can’t agree with you more – this is a crazy market. The Nasdaq’s move the past six days:
up 24, up 22, down 45, up 30, down 46, up 55
Pretty hard to make a ton of dough in the midst of such choppiness.
CSIQ does look decent out of this falling wedge pattern.
I would say we could go higher here too but I tend to think we will just continue to chop around, making things miserable for most traders, or at least for me.
Is there an echo in here?

Those haters out there just want to vent their frustrations because they lack the knowledge and skills to be profitable. As they sit there day in and day out staring at their negative P&L’s, you can literally see the steam coming out their ears. I mean how many times can someone curse and degrade themselves, so they need to spill their hate to others as well. It’s a self defense mechanism – a very annoying one at that.

Ragin just keep doing what you do. This market is brutal right now and most traders are suffering. Just staying in the game at this point is a plus in my opinion due to the number of traders that are imploding on a daily basis. I was profitable every month this year until Jun hit. I don’t sweat it though because I know I’ll be profitable again and that draw downs are part of the game. Along with CSIQ I like YGE for a move to $18 and SOLF to $15.
in this market the only thing you can do is buy some pot… And I don’t mean potash!

Whether it’s a mkt bottom or just a tradeable bounce, I dont know. But this rally looks very real. Closed my MON today for a small loss. Holding PKI and ZNH long right now. Definitely looking to buy more sutff that looks good (will do some work later in the evening and will share the ideas here). With oil hitting the shitter, we should get a pretty significant rally.

Anyone think AAPL is a short here? It should have ripped higher today and was up very little on light volume. I shorted it into earnings last week and did real well. I think it is good for 7-10 points to the downside.
if AAPL were to break below the low of today, i’d say a short play would have a good risk/reward.
maybe keep a reasonably tight stop, since a press release saying steve’s health was fine would send AAPL up 10pts in about 15min.

I’m with you in this being a crazy market. I flipped over to the long side as well today even though it goes against everything I “think” should be happening. Price rules and right now, more shit is turning up than not. Crazy indeed. We won’t know it without getting hit, but we both might be getting “faked the fuck out (FTFO)” here too.
