That last upgrade into earnings was a ploy to unload shares to the mentally challenged going into a calamitous earnings event.
This move lower in $TWTR that is underway is going to mark it’s final move lower.
I actually think the low is already in. I don’t believe $TWTR is gunning for those lows, but I have been talking in After Hours with Option Addict about waiting for a move to take out these lows over the last few months at $16.
$15-$15.50 was the area I wanted to wait for. If that hits, I’m looking at some 2-3 month calls.

The company is being managed by chimps. There is incredible value to the platform not being realized. I like this level too.
Yeah, I think a lot has been discounted at these prices.
Snapchat IPO coming too. TWTR will no longer be viewed as the biggest piece of shit social.
SNAP is such a crap social media tool. I know a lot of young folks are on it these days but I’ve tried it a few times and it’s very confusing and complicated.
BeeChoo on the dick pics app. lmao
fuck. I bot shares yesturday 🙁
might just average down
eyeing those 10 March AMZN 800’s
the bird’s the word.
$TWTR is like a house FOR SALE that has a “Price Reduced” sign on it. PPL drive by everyday waiting for it to drop again. 16 is fair market value – anything lower is in the “takeout” zone.
That would suggest people are shopping to buy TWTR. You think that’s true?
Fundamentals point to at least a couple dollars of TWTR’s price being acquisition speculation.
Question is, does sentiment around the stock drop even farther and remove that premium? That would be the ideal entry
MSGT HARTMAN, thank you for your comment the other page!
What’s the problem with the company? Can’t make any money? Ton’s of social value and get’s talked about everyday… TWTR is almost a utility. Not everything needs to be monetized.
Everything doesn’t need to be monetized but it’s probably a good idea if you’re investment is in something that makes money. Especially something that is basically mentioned ad nauseam on television and other media outlets.
i think there are tons of sharks circling this one. If a bid is ever put out for TWTR, 2 more will instantly happen. The value of the company is way higher than the current market price which is just reflecting revenue and user growth. Someone will eventually put a price tag on the political and influential value.
For those that want to build a watchlist but don’t want to look through 7000 names…

Thanks bro! Good weekend reading
No problem, plan to update the watchlist myself sometime today or this weekend.
Newer issues are also usually a higher level of risk. So here’s 164 more stocks that IPO’d in 2011 or sooner but don’t have short interest of above 5%.

Can someone explain this to me?:
I’ve been in LAZ and they issued a special dividend and yesterday was the ex date.
But it’s like they just sucked a dollar out of the share price. The charts all just got adjusted. So what was $43 is now $42? If I bought at $43, the share is now only worth $42
I’m uber confused about this. Is that how it always works?
Yes. Why it’s illegal to sell the dividend.
Yep, you get a dollar but lose four quarters.
But the pattern didn’t change. They changed the axis. I didn’t know they could do that. Can someone change the x-axis and make today Thursday again please?
Wait, I’ll give you something that will blow your mind.
If you go to StockCharts.com and put an underscore ( _ ) before stock symbol – you will get UN-ADJUSTED for dividends price of security.
Now, look at high-yield bonds. Black line is what everybody see; RED line is what happens in REALITY.

lol. People have no fucking clue what they are trading
(Bergamot ducks)
Blood in, blood out
blood in the cut.
I think it’ll print low 14’s; based on A/D and OBV
I will not buy shares of Twitter, at any price, because of the absurd level of stock based compensation. ‘Taliban Jack’ will not get a nickel from me.
OA, what is your target for JWN ? I am looking 49. Thanks!
2018
Thanks. Long way to go!
shorted GLD, AMZN. still long LVS, TGT, JWN.
What’s THEBOOGER?
An ancient secret indicator passed on from generations of the most highly skilled traders to walk the earth.
I’m talking against my book, as I bought it around the open, as I would like to agree with your assessment – with that said, this could continue towards 12. There don’t appear to be any buyers and these idiots have no idea how to run a company.
Maybe market forces / technical reasons cause people to buy and move it higher (I’d be happy), but until there’s a buyer or management change, it’s hard to see much upside.
In regards to SNAP, I intend to buy puts (or possibly sell calls) immediately once they are available. I will go on record and say it will never go above the high achieved in the first week of trading.
SnapChat has the majority of the market share in the coveted (18-24) demographic. They have some of the best facial recognition software as well. Pretty sure they have a database of faces/fingerprints at this point. They’re making decent money from geo location services. Idk I actually think the IPO will surprise people.
A few of my friends being 18-25 are talking about buying Snapchat on the IPO day to get really rich really fast and payoff their student loans. I think that means it’s a successful IPO by design and would go up on the opening if the ?market? doesn’t break.
If the twenty somethings want in, you’re fucked.
I added a little long exposure today but this market feels precarious, to say the least. The turd indicators are going off, TLT barely down, IWM failing to break out with any real conviction….
My calls will expire next week and I’ll be left with mostly short exposure. I don’t feel badly about that.
Anyone else feel this way?
If everything but the Russel has been breaking out, then I would be worried that if the other indices pull back, then the newly free capital would flow into the Russell and the Russell would break out….
Russell usually leads the breakout though. Selling SPX to buy IWM would be indicative of an early stage risk-on trade, and I think we’re far passed that point.
You may end up being correct, however. You could apply that same logic to argue against OAs AMZN trade, but betting against him is not a great idea, lol.
if money is flowing to where it hasn’t, then why would either have to be incorrect? Russell has been flagging for almost two months after a 10% move – if it is at a point for another leg, this would be it – money would have to come off the sidelines or from other investments
For AMZN, if everyone is in it because it was THE trade and now they are searching for more reward, then money can flow out of there quickly. Remember AAPL back in 2012/2013? The stock dropped by 40% – it wasn’t that it was a bad company, it was severely overowned and money flowed out to chase better prospects. Stock price and company quality are not directly correlated, which is something I had to come to terms with
I’m not saying you’re correct or incorrect, just offering an alternative perspective. I’m a big believer that in trading, saying “this time will be different” is the silliest stance once can take. To me, the historical patterns in IWM suggest downside ahead, not upside.
For AMZN, I think you missed my meaning. I was applying your logic regarding IWM and the indices – you could argue that any weakness in the other FANG names should flow to AMZN since it hasn’t broken out yet. That would blow up the short.
I am enjoying the discussion, this is my opinion and I am interested to see how this plays out
And totally understand your points – I thought IWM would have broken out by now and keep looking at it to do something – I am leaning towards higher, but your conviction on your short is commendable
AMZN is something that we will have to see. There was quite a bit of action on AMZN in the puts, ..3Mar puts had some decent numbers of contracts moving
So do I need to retract my BIDU rant, or just remember that feeling so that I can remember that those are buy points….
Uh oh $PLUG up over 30%
This board is getting chatty….
Dude, no kidding.
Makes u wonder.
The bulls are not dick whipping bears yet
The chatting is a lot of talk about missing or not buying. Key difference.
When will TWTR finally focus solely on being a real time search engine? Fucking morons running that show. Free Cash Flow is solid though.
This post is full of win.
did you cover your 820 AMZN short, or still riding? and if covered, looking again near 830? like standing in front of a freight train, but for some reason i like 830.
For those who like to follow investor confidence info..
http://som.yale.edu/faculty-research/centers-initiatives/international-center-for-finance/data/stock-market-confidence-indices/stock-market-confidence-indices
Institutional confidence is at a record high level..
I have forgotten what it is like to be in a stock that has a high valuation – 1% is a more points, but still 1%
true – it’s up about 2% from where I bought puts – still like the idea – feel like I am speculating on more of a black Swan event at this point – lol
I take it the H&S pattern on $AMZN is invalidated now? I suppose the sentiment is a put holders only hope now…
Am I off-base thinking that the ARCH buy will be followed by some NatGas plays?
Got long SWN today.
