Last long in $TWTR was back on 9/19. Caught the gap and go, but only held for $22 due to upcoming expiry. The profile supported $24.75 as a target, which was hit and rejected yesterday.
I had a lot of questions in the last two weeks about whether or not one should trade $TWTR calls in anticipation of a buyout. I responded as I normally do to those that want to chase… “Absolutely not.”
Today I rescind that response and will be a buyer of November $TWTR calls at the open.
If you liked this idea in the mid-$20’s, and don’t take action here, I question your sanity.

I liked it at 14-16. I’ll take a pass on this lotto ticket.
Not a lotto ticket, calculated opportunity.
What’s the expiry on our $TWLO debate?
I presumed the 1st target was if it’ll last past Oct. The post-Fed risk-on squeeze was well timed on your part (the battle).
2nd & more favored suggestion was 2 just short the stock through the next earnings announcement (the war).
Drum roll….
Does Jack’s ineptitude spoil the appeal of SQ?
Think it will ride down to 18 or so..
Yeah, $19-$20 is the zone I was thinking.
WFC short….somebody says something bad every day…..Uncle Warren wont be associated with fraudsters…one day he’LL say hes out….this is a 20.00 stock
No way dirt, fade sentiment here. Was one of my favorite ideas on Tuesday. Ran out of money or I would have bought calls. Great LT chart setup here.
cwap…..my simple mind gets me bass ackwards ty
A couple ideas .. CBRL, W
I’m going fishing on a bright, sunny pre-hurricane day. May the stock and fish gods bless us.
Return and report.
Wow everyone hating on Twitter now.
Exactly.
The I told you so people are out in full force.
Precisely why OA is buying
Gold at 200 Day MA and the entire bar is beneath the lower bollinger band. I think we get a nice bounce today and tomorrow.
Will be loading the truck in JNUG around 3:30pm.
Looking like jnug will continue down tomorrow. Not going to get in the way. Maybe in the morning.
OA you adding to this if it goes lower?
Not today, but I will if it sets up. $19-$20 a good range. Already initiated at the open though.
nice. shameless follow after I waited one day to long on DB. was expecting the hockey stick save over the weekend on DB.
With $DB’s issues, they are obviously valid…but raising concern after prices did what they did is just a reflection of how retarded crowds are.
What strikes and price were you looking @ for twtr Nov’s?
Dam. Feye really is the devil stock. F it
Man I hate TWTR but I bought a small batch of Nov 18 strike calls. Looks like a bigger overreaction to the overreaction.
the question becomes whats the premium if any on the TWTR take out.
earnings on tap for the 25th … maybe further weakness into that date, and then they need to beat.
Taken out or not, this stock is a treasure here, IMO.
+1
Closed out GLD short but looking to reload on a bounce
I would wait for the horrible earnings report to load the boat
That was last quarter. I did that already. Going to be left behind.

OA thoughts on HCI going into the hurricane? Perhaps overblown
Got nothing, sorry.
FEYE does it yet again. lol
You were warned.
Bought at the close decent size, smoked today.
I am a fucking moron. Even rats can learn.
still at trending support
$FTV looks even better than yesterday, for IPO hunters.
$PI my fave here too
Waiting for options on $PI
stepped into some DB nov 18 calls on this weakness
correction 14 strike for Nov calls
Beautiful day on the water but fish had lockjaw. Guess I should have stayed home and bought CBRL.. might get some before the close.
Having a hard time not buying way to much of TWLO down here.
Ironic enough CRM and Google adds are all over my tweeter feed may be a sign
Back in 2013 a man whom I did some business with swore up and down on TWTR, he would become animated talking shit about the profits raining down from the money trees Jack created.
Not being the excitable type, I always told him to “forget TWTR, buy FB”. Thankfully, that bit of advice always ended the conversation.
