I couldn’t find one optimistic opinion on $AAPL into earnings this last quarter. Naturally, the stock ripped higher. I didn’t start getting asked about $AAPL as a long til we got to the $108-$110 area, which is where I booked gains on my earnings trade. Going into their event a couple weeks ago, everyone wanted to buy $AAPL going into the event. Naturally, $AAPL sells off post event like it normally does. I waited til I read my first comment here about $AAPL going much lower, which happened on the 8th. Loaded up on some calls there, and now $AAPL is angry. Seeking revenge on those that own too little.
Here’s a 10 year chart. The trend is already underway.
Sentiment can tough to gauge. Lotta pressure. You gotta rise above it. You gotta harness in the good energy, block out the bad. Harness. Energy. Block. Bad. Feel the flow Happy. Feel it. It’s circular. It’s like a carousel. You pay the quarter, you get on the horse, it goes up and down, and AROUND. It’s circular. Circle, with the music, the flow. All good things.
What’s good for AAPL is good for the America…seems like everyone has given up on Timmy.

Lots of ways to play AAPL. My preference is AMAT but probably easiest to reach out and buy some 115 or 120 OTM calls out a few weeks.

I didn’t give the trade enough time. Regardless, its the leadership the market needs so I’m happy that she’s firing on all cylinders and not surprised OA nailed another one. Still lots of money to be made on the name.

The Fed does not have to alter course (doing nothing) if Crude continues lower. Our bar business has been above average to very good once $2 gasoline prices were achieved. It would not be unreasonable for prices at the pump work their way down to $1.50 as we enter the holiday season. Lower gasoline prices will reignite consumer spending so we can afford to buy our loved ones a $750 phone for Christmas!.

Just looking at my oil chart, after Fly’s post. I have the following note on it
“July 6, OA: oil def in anxiety, buy on dip <40, 38 ideal".
I had an alert set on XOIL.X just under 39 that never triggered but I want to point out how amazing that call was by OA – that chart bottomed Aug 2 so he called the entry ~1 month out for what could have been ~25% gain.
I can’t bring myself to buy hardware companies, they are fraught with danger. Striking employees, part shortages, logistics nightmares.

Lucky fools sometimes sound similar to wise people. But competent people are successful in the long haul and lucky fools rarely are. There’s no one talking about how competent GWB was now. But years from now we’ll still be talking about how competent OA was– or still is, if he remains in this career rather than going to a different one.
He’s right that AAPL has a meandering somewhat circular path that ultimately is flowing toward greatness. It’s a sort of musical trade that’s successful.
Success in the market is not found in listening to all the words that people say on CNBC about the market.
You listen to the music– the patterns– not the words. OA does that well. And that’s why we’re all here.
