At times you have to endure a little pain to come out on the right side of the market. So many prefer a reactive approach, which is why most are consistently one step behind the market.
I added to $TWLO and bought my $CREE calls around $23.50 after the open. I also picked up calls on $WDC and $DATA here.
Looking to book some $GPRO, $JD, $NFLX, $BIDU and $STMP that expire on Friday.
Come to Boot Camp. Starts on the 29th. It will change your life.

OA how do you feel about PANW here for a long?
Gotta a feeling we’re going to see more of the Dip Nazi in the coming weeks…
RUT not as perky on the way back up.
Sir, do you have any snake oil for sale also?
lol
By the way, you’re by far the ugliest realtor in the office there. I may put this to a vote later, fucked face.
is $WDC and $DATA LT?
No, I specify anything that is LT.
When its not LT, is it usually just weekly/2 weeks?
No.
sorry about the million questions, i might have missed it when you mentioned them
So LT is 2 months +
and regularly its just < 2 months but not specified
Do this, just read the trades I post. I label anything long term. I label anything that is a weekly.
Why the interrogation?
gotcha.
No, not interrogating. I just thought there was something i missed.
Thanks for the clarification though.
Sorry, I’m on one today. 70% of everything I do is front month. 25% weeklys. Haven’t traded a long term option since 2011/2012.
Thanks, this is exactly when I am looking for!
SBUX breaking looks….couple hundred Sep 60 calls still offered @ .04. Won’t be there tomorrow.
*breaking loose
rolled some $URBN coin into a little $DE YOLO.
Separate question, as I’m interested in learning as much as I can about 6-8 month options. Usually after a move as big as the one in $CREE, you’d advise to let it settle some before taking action. Is that less of an issue with a longer term contract (in your eyes)? Or is $CREE a unique situation?
Yeah, let it settle if you can.
$TLND creeping back into buyable zone.
Your replies are cracking me up today Jeff, and that’s with no sign of chubs! Great work here
It illustrates an inflection point in the market. Not my responses, but the questions…lol.
What’s the inflection point OA? More people starting to participate?
I’m here if you need me
