The market sentiment here is amazing. Can’t wait to talk more about this next week. For now, I took my winnings and took the kids on a weekend getaway. Being in and out of the hospital for the last 6 weeks took a toll on these guys, so I’m rewarding them with long line waiting for theme park rides in the rain.

The recent action in the market reminds me a lot of the 1st half of 2015…most gains got squashed the very next day. People went from wild eyed bullish to suicidal from day to day.
If you bought Wednesday then sold Thursday I would definitely agree.

Grabbed a little UAL and BIIB into the close. I can’t quite figure out the trading for UAL. Maybe the thinking is oil rips higher from here or travel falls off a cliff? The stock is down $8 in a week or so. It actually looks a lot like the aversion phase of the sentiment chart
Finished with a great week. Reduced my long oil exposure by half into the weekend to free up cash to buy my favorite retailers b4 & after Retail Sales next week: BBBY, SKX
Only my banks and interest rates holding me back. Auctioning 10s & 30s next week. The bond are already expensive relative to the US. Watch to see who buys.

@jewishmantis – I’m a little behind, so I’m late in tipping my hat toward the excellent call on the $clf yolo. Unfortunately after putting up that post I ate a couple of tacos, walked around my desk a few times and got myself in a better mental state, so I didn’t end up overexposing myself long on short dated out of the money options on less than desirable companies. Which of course ended up being a dumb financial decision. Leaning from my mistake, I ended up grabbing end of April $sfun on Friday.
AAPL holding 110 here looks really good – stock rallied off the recent trend line – bought some weekly 111 calls .
