I lined my pockets with asshole stocks today, including calls in $GPRO, $CMCM, $FEYE, $MTCH and added to $YELP.
I am up to my knees in garbage, as a market rotation takes place. Last March-June was a massive stretch of gains for me last year.
I’m betting on a repeat.

I am currently long oil expecting a run to 42 – 45. I am wrong if oil closes a week under 35.00 and fails to recapture that in the days following.
I trade around this position to better my chances. Yesterday I bot SCO at 130. Just sold at 139.52. Those profits help offset my current acceptable loss in UWTI.
I have orders in for TBT and moar UWTI if we get a leg sweep at the open. Hope I get my fills. We’ll see in 2 minutes.

I bot the close in UWTI. Next week. Remember under 35 close for a week and I consider myself wrong. Position size your bets accordingly. This move down in oil is well within the range for this recent uptrend. Oil’s March month end closing is more important.
To be specific, your stop should be greater than 5% for oil futures, 15% for UWTI. Never bet more than what you can sleep on overnight. For me that is up to 2% of my portfolio.

Pre-open thought….TSLAs market cap was only $31B on Friday. Clearly this company is a disruptor. Stock is worth $50B at this juncture. Get some!

Stock performance reminds me of AOL back in the late 90s. Stock would go up every day for weeks.
I would argue that without legacy costs like Pensions nor wage / labor pressure from Unions, they can make a pile of money if they continue to lead development of stylish, fast, environmentally efficient vehicles. Interestingly, new auto sales might flatten out for the next couple years as folks opt to wait for TSLA models to hit the streets.
Consider what’s going on internally with all the model tinkering. If true demand is 2X more than projected demand, you might see accelerated commitment to building next gigafactory.
Endless ways to build a case for insane mode upside….methinks $500 by the end of summer.
But are they losing money on each car built? Can they meet customer demand without a costly expansion? It’s fascinating to watch Musk negotiate all of these issues. But we all know that a company’s profitability and stock price don’t always ride in tandem so $500 by end of summer is always possible.
That’s a debate for a later time unless you think shares stall here.
FANG shares (ex GOOGL) getting de-balled – AVOID or even better yet short em.
Low octane is where the fast money is going to be made on the upside for the next few quarters. I like WFM at these levels.

They’re all doing what FIT did last week…stocks left for dead at end of quarter doing the opposite of FANG names. You’re excellent at identifying rotations and all three look like champs. GRPN looks best to me on the gap.

I sold out of $TWTR off the Friday stock buy for a $1,400 winner, I’m sure I sold too soon as I always do on winners, but just couldn’t pass up locking in the gains after a weekend hold.
Why not just use a tight or trailing stop to protect profits so you can let winners run?
