Maybe its just me, but this was the most despondent 300 point gap up I may have ever seen.
On Friday we broke the lower end of the trading range we’ve been in for the last few weeks, and traded right back up into it at the close. You know what they say…from failed moves come fast moves.
I’m building my shopping list today. Seems we may be getting ready to leave this range for a bit. I’m long the TF here this morning, and my oil stop hit right before the bitch went Ol’ Faithful. Let’s trade some stocks this week…what are you buying?

Not sure if it’s just the AAPL announcement coming up but NFLX has been so weak lately.
I’m thinking it has more to do with the astronomical run up previously. That thing went parabolic so probably not any buyers left.

I grabbed some GILD and AAPL today only for short term trades.
AAPL has a product announcement tomorrow. could be a good trade into the close if you think people will buy ahead of the announcement, which is what i’m thinking. AAPL has historically moved 5% in the 30 days prior to a iPhone announcement. The past 30 days it has gone down 6.6%. I’m thinking there is some room to catch up here into the close today.

Probably stupid to make this rash decision but been more comfortable just staying in cash to be honest. Moves like NFLX and BABA make me hesitant to commit much money to the market just yet.
NASDAQs look like they want to go to bottom of range of 30 minute chart.
Or maybe we’re at the Denial phase on that chart.

Team Despondent here. Lurked and watched REGN $530 to $540, even if I’d only scalped that as a daytarde[sic] I’d have banked some coin.
My excuse is I’ve taken a few months off. That’s not really something worthy of being dignified as an excuse, and it sure as hell ain’t a reason.
