Barring a last minute flush, today will mark the biggest single day gain since I began trading and the biggest single day percentage gain since 2009. Life is good.

Threw some beer money into a revenge YOLO in $GPRO. Tomorrow’s $60.50. It got really quiet at around 11:00 so I thought tomorrow may be its day (if ever). Of course it’s off after hours already and below $60, so there may be no beer for me tomorrow.

Have been stalking this for a long ass time. The risk reward down here seems very manageable. Give it another 5% down and I think it should get back to over $600 this year.
Still sticking with the bigger cap stocks.

No but I tend to hold stuff longer than you guys and am more focused on fundamentals. If it drops further I would add. The valuation is extremely compelling here. The past 2 years they have done about $6 Billion in excess CapEx vs the prior 2 years. If you back that out this is trading at around 16 times free cash flow. Pretty rare to find the company with arguably the widest moat in the world to be trading at a fairly big discount to the overall market.
Went Long in CARA as a biotech play. Pretty thin but nice profile and ready to go.

Yeah, a close below 3.25.
No stop for me, position size like an option that doesn’t expire, expect to buy same dollar amount with every significant drop in oil. Next stop 43…and so on. Who thinks oil goes to zero?

OA, what are the chances of a triple leveraged etf like this going to 0 or being liquidated? Not thinking it’ll happening, I just don’t have any experience with this type of ETF.
They just reverse split the shares of the ETF, which isn’t always a bad thing like in stocks. JNUG just did this at the end of December and now it’s up 80% while tracking the GDXJ.
they have short to medium term runs but you better get out when they start to turn down again!
The triple levered ETFs are a scam to make their managers rich on massive decay. Better to wager on the lottery.
