Woke up to the dream that my small, gamble on EGLE shares had paid off big. Sold my few shares in premarket. I have a feeling I’ll get a call to tell me that the trade was invalid. Any reason/way I should fight it?

whoa, what happened, is this move real? I have 2016 $4 calls that I thought were dead in the water (pardon the pun)… Trading is halted and I can’t even get a quote on my options..
Would appreciate some guidance: I sold share of EGLE in premarket. But in actuality those shares had already been canceled and should not have been shown in my account. Tradestation now says my sale is now tantamount to my having taken a short position in the new stock. In other words they consider me to be in a deeply underwater short position that is now “mine to manage”.
Dream becomes nightmare. Just thankful it is a relatively small amount, but enough to be painful.
Any suggestions on what my recourse is?
As long as you selected “sell to close” and didn’t select “sell to open” it shouldn’t have gone through.

Who are “they ” chief ? I’ve been working on that question longer than I care to admit . I’ve come to this simple conclusion . And it has a nice ring /rhyme to it .

Flipped my TNA 60’s at $61 per recommendation last night and got some security with IWM puts with next week expiry, but have no expectation to hold that long of course.
That’s the line in the sand, so be nimble.
That was my idea Thomas but I set my order to high. Thought it would hit the 61.99.
I intend to. I am so thankful to have anything from those lousy TNA’s I bought last week, I am a happy camper. I think ‘short the rip’ is just about the most crowded trade on the planet so I don’t plan on setting up camp.
went to the dentist – set a sell order at 61.99 for TNA… hopefully this market doesn’t go down from here. Pulling my sell order.
I have been riding KORS and am only a couple points down because of my puts through yesterday’s V. Added more Nov $75 calls yesterday which I am up on…. hang in there yes?
Sold puts close to the bottom of the V yesterday… so 100% long now FYI.
Is $MYGN working on something new? I see declining earnings 3 last quarters. They are burning cash. Insider selling. But also very low PE compared to equals and a chart basing ready to break up or down.
I’ve been working with them for the last two years with my son. I like the company and some of the things I’ve heard. Feel free to pass though.

I think thats YOUR MYGN down %7 today, he has his own, as do I and quite a few others. What sucks is your unhappiness in owning it. Position sizing will make all that sucking go away if you follow that protocol, if not then THAT sucks, not this.
