I know many of you are quietly or publicly shitting on my LULU idea. That’s ok. I quietly laugh my ass off every time you have a good idea too.
Listen, my idea has sucked thus far…as a trade. As an investment, it still looks promising. If you look around the retail space, earnings has been a pretty mixed bag. Right now I know you are asking yourself…”Hey OA, are holding LULU through earnings?”

While an upbeat report can jump start the stock a little bit, in all honesty, I thought we’d be a little further along with this idea by now. I used the word “investment” carefully when I presented the idea, but my biggest flaw in the execution was only buying a September expiration. However, at the time, September felt like an eternity.
Should you decide to keep this bitch into earnings, ask yourself how butt-hurt would you be losing the premium. If it would trigger tears, take the 50% loss here, like a man. Otherwise, hold onto your yoga pants.

I have a hard time seeing earnings causing a major downward spike. That said, I might close out sept early and roll over to Oct or Nov. The big money potential is there.

For whats it worth I’ve done some chart surfing and the ones that look that best to me are solar and some industrial names. I know industrials suck to trade but check out MMM HON LMT? I like SCTY in the solar space and am thinking of adding it at the end of the day. It may not mean anything as I was hung up on the miners and energy the last 2 weeks which have sucked but this is my new focus for next week. I also cant stop looking at the shippers.

I have just begun dabbling in options trading this past year. More so buying longer dated expirations as a form of leverage on stocks I like. Recently I have shorted my expirations to 1-2 months out.
I asked about the AHWOA without the PPT because I was curious if most of the setups discussed during AHWOA revolved around PPT screens/signals or if OA just knocks it out of the park on his own.
The service is separate from PPT and OA has his own methodology for mining and selecting trades. He goes through it once a week with us and we create a watchlist that participants execute on their own according to their particular trading/investing style. We also pick a trade of the week as a group often. We also have an open Q&A each day.

for $N, would yesterday and today’s price action be a signal to lock in profit after a nice run, or is it a scenario of some buyers stepped in today, so let it run and cut if today’s low is met again today or next week. It looks like its at the bottom of the channel for the uptrend (after breaching it this morning), or with today’s highs it could be at the top of a new downward trend. Or, if yesterday’s action would have triggered a sell signal, then I would take today as a gift to get out.

hold looking favorable. In terms of trading rules, we say hold and let it run with higher highs/higher lows. I’d like to know what people do with inside days (lower highs/higher lows). Do you hold or sell or it varies per trade? If you hold, what next do you look for that would trigger a sell? If wednesday had the higher high/higher low, Thursday had an inside day, would you then sell if Friday took out the Wednesday low? Curious to know if people plan for that kind of action and have rules surrounding that price action. My trading plans are based on targets and exits when trades don’t immediately work, but I haven’t really addressed the inside day and exiting on the scenarios I described above.

Are you telling us to use OCT options going forward because:
A) You think Sept options with 14 days to expiration is too short in current environment (I don’t believe you think this).
B) Too many anxiety ridden, all-in, pansies among your subs so you needed to put them on a lower dose.
