I bought a good amount of AMZN weekly calls into the bell yesterday and managed to catch a runner here this morning. I also picked up PCLN and LVS calls as well as shares of PXLW at $7.87 at the open.
While the market consolidates this afternoon, I have no other pre-planned trades. I’m contemplating a china stock, such as BIDU, WUBA…maybe CYOU or SOHU.

Got into DANG at the close yesterday. Away at meetings during this intraday retest, so I e-mailed my boss for no more two meetings during market hours. Did not go well.
I would like another 1-3% pullback in QIHU, SINA, ZU, CRM and YOKU before getting in. Some are closer to that balance area made during discouragement than others.
Feeling gun shy this morning, can’t pull the trigger. Like the look of that LVS

I went with AMZN yesterday as well, and got some TSLA, NUGT, and SALE this morning. Added more to my NIOBF, I think that’s a penny stock miner that will destroy.

Easy to manage
Have you dialed down position size in these new trades or are they the same as in past few weeks. Is the “good amount” of AMZN calls any bigger of a position size than LVS or PCLN, or have you remained consistent across trade ideas with respect to position size? Thanks, hoping to use your wisdom well to navigate this market. I was thinking of dialing it in a little with any new positions I take.
Why?
With fewer setups across the board I was wondering if it was wise to trade smaller until more setups presented themselves. This pullback, if that’s all it is, as well as time will help provide more setups, so that’s why I was thinking of going smaller this week.
We did this last week though. We went smaller number of positions before the weakness. Now I’m buying again.
China name: I vote SINA. Not far from recent support; buy back; cash position; cross ownership in several other burritos. Pull back looks like a nice entry point with manageable exits
I like CYOU – low volume, profitable (according to unaudited numbers, granted) and consolidated today above 52-week low. Someone is going to start noticing this. One issue to look at is the closeness to earnings (week of 20 July).

I picked up some SUNE stock this morning for my mom on the dip under 22. Also threw in some ANGI, TRTC and CYOU
WBMD is looking good – rising back up to new highs and has a mucho shorts – not sure it looks good chart-wise after the breakout from its consolidation last week, but this week it has held its ground this week amidst the carnage.

Any particular reason for going with LVS vs. WYNN or MGM in this scenario?…or all 3 similar and personal preference?
The set-up was better IMO. Same reason why I went MGM first. In hindsight, MGM moved the most initially. This is my specialty.

I hate to say it “but this time is different” VIX has bottomed gold is flying and social media took a bashing…. not a good mix. Social media was the tell, it’s been a leader all year and that hammering it took this week was significant. IMO the IWM has put in a top. Have to look for longs and shorts now on a daily basis.

I am not calling the service into question, I am using it myself, I find it very useful, learning a lot from it, made some money on good tips I got from it, now probably lost the same amount but mainly of my own folly:)) Just for the record, I think that one is always solely rsponsible for the trades one makes.
