It has just crossed that entire vol pocket and will soon hit an upward resistance near 26.4. Am I reading it right? Will you sell it then?

A Few Thoughts on Yesterday’s AH Session
I found it extremely helpful and useful to go through this excercise. Not just to review charts, but to see the thought process of various members as they did their analysis. Some are big on seasonality, others do a mini technical analysis, while still others place strong emphasis on long/short positioning on the stock.
Additionally, the concept of 1, 5, or even 10 year lookbacks to determine patterns or generate targets was new to me. How in the world could a TEN year history provide guidance for tomorrow ? But indeed, the way OA ‘splained it made perfect sense.
To continue our “fishing” analogy for AH, it was clear that some use lures, some like bobbers, and other think that bait is everything – but I feel like a added a few tools to my tackle box as I continue to improve and hone my trading style.
I believe that if we could do this ONCE a month, it would be of great benefit to the group as a whole – and especially for the new (newer) members.

What determines whether you hold or sell in massive gaps higher, like with your APOL position?
I was looking for an initiative buyer. He showed up, ready to squeeze shorts.
Once upon a time down here in SoCal, Knott’s Berry Farm had a “magic house” which essentially was a full scale house that appeared normal, but was actually built on a 30 percent incline. This resulted in some marvelous optical illusions such as balls rolling uphill on their own, people standing at (apparently) a 30 degree tilt, and water flowing uphill INTO a pump.
The last one is the mental image I have for APOL – with buyers pouring in and filling up that glorious volume pocket we saw in yesterday’s chart.
As Stock Picker pointed out, there were 20M shorts in this stock. With it crossing 26 a few times already today, should make for an interesting afternoon chart as the shorts try and drag it down while the stock wants to move up.

WDAY took more at .35 Looking for OS bounce Riding lower BB mult tframes
watching Ticks on APOL, and I have to say, it’s a thing of beauty. Perfect examples of sentiment charts even at this granularity. Can see each cycle play out, and then the next climb higher. OA has taught us well.
BTW – it also takes the emotion (i.e panic) out of the game.
