I bought shares of GLUU for a steal here at $2.34.
This kind of spot allows me to let this trade turn into an investment…kinda like my RAX or IQNT long from earlier.
Funny, but this stock doesn’t usually move 15% in a day, without some sort of news attached. This is what I call, Alpha.
Book gains as you wish, but I plan to be an investor here, since my entry in this name was better than most.
$3.50 in 6 weeks or less.

OA, you really think FSLR has a shot at a double before Jan? Jan 60’s from 3 and change to 40! That would be an insane return..
I know that stock will double. The only question is when.

Too much time, IMO.
I hate buying too much time. It cuts into my profit margin.
January 50s @$10.20-10.55 spread. Say you “overpay” and pay $10.60 for 2 contracts or $2120. Or 100 shares at $45.46 for $4546.
If it trades to $100, the option yields at least $50.00 contract for 2 shares or $10,000-$2120 cost=$7880.
Stock goes to $100 and it’s
$10,000-4546=$5454.
If you are wrong and stock goes to $40 after say 5 months own the stock and it’s $546. Own the option and with no IV change you are looking at around $7.50 for two contracts or $2120-$1500=$620.
Risk reward
$7880/$620=12.71 2 2015 options
vs
$5454/$546=9.989 100 shares of stock
I suppose if you own FSLR in an IRA and factor in taxes and fees for options and bid-ask spread gets you on the sale also… it makes a bit more sense.
And perhaps I’m missing something?

He returns and starts feeding the machine madly and of course the machine keeps feeding out drinks.
Another person walks up behind Fly jr and watches his antics for a few minutes before stopping and him and asking if someone else could have a go.
Fly jr spins around and shouts in the other guy’s face: “Can’t you see I’m winning?”

For the record, I don’t mind opposing opinions, and I don’t mind hecklers. My performance shuts them up quick.

OA, a few weeks ago (without digging) I believe you were looking at met coal options, you think it is putting in a bottom here? Like any ACI, ANR, WLT at these levels even if its on a longer time frame?

Haven’t heard from you since before the 4th and know you had an open DDD 37 strike price position that would have expired in the money last Friday. It’s not like you to disappear, but then again it is the 4th weekend so very possible you just had lots of things going on.
