I don’t.
My largest single position in the last month was TZA. I held it til I felt it bottomed. Now I feel it goes lower, so I won’t buy it.

really? You think the ‘correction’ is over? RUT is lagging badly today. I bought a few thousand shares in the 31.4’s. I gotta feeling there migh be a mini rug pull this afternoon. Absolutely ridiculous reaction to a meaningless and manipulated jobs #. SP 1645 is the ceiling for now.
If you short here and the SP continues to 1645, you will lose.
I have been doing just fine over here. Convince someone else to lose money with you.

timmy is a complete con job. Perhaps he traded 4 or 5 years ago, but if he takes ALL the shorts he professes to take….then he would be broke by now.
And that’s the rub, he really doesn’t trade at slope of hope anymore. What timmy does now is just collect memberships and Ad revenue from desperate souls wondering which they will lose first, their account balances or their unemployment checks.
A Trader can spot a Trader and there are not many at soh.

Yes, have sold some calls, but I don’t do much option buying in that account.
Busy a.m. with several trades . I believe that the July options on the DXJ (although considerably higher than yesterday ) present a great opportunity .

I notice your trades in the past are working out well. Great work!. But I also notice that you, a lot of times, close the trade quickly on the initial spike up. Whereas, if patient, with a few days retrace the stock usually has shown a good probability of bumping up again for a second run(eg:SODA the latest) for an even greater exit point.
Is there a reason why you exit immediately when you probably know that you could exit shortly later at an even better price?.

Pull backs in short dated options hurt. Usually, the upside is not worth the decay during the pullback.
I like to sell my options when they are “ripe.” When time and price come together.

Congrats on your market analysis. When all other bloggers, some whom you know and other IBD ‘experts’ saying Cash, cash, cash….the trend culture has changed, beware, beware, beware….ONLY you OA, during that time period mentioned a short pullback only, similar to Feb’s pullback and not to worry. Now all those other same folks on Twitter, so excited again on a dime. Not saying we’re completely out of the woods yet on this mini-pullback, but all in all, Congrats on being astute and decisively intelligent.

OA as a sub of yours I am enjoying it all. However I can never seem to nail the best trades you put out and end up taking the lesser “calls” like GMCR or AAPL weeklies. My best technician has the market rallying back to 1655ish on the S&P and then another pullback.
