Ken Fisher Says Buy Now Before the Super Bull Arrives

It looks like all the usual bullish suspects are pounding the table on the equity markets now.  These comments are from Ken Fisher of Fisher investments (via Forbes):

“Last year I warned of a middling market, but this year will be different. I expect it to be a great year for stocks, including last year’s picks.

Volatility spooked investors in 2011, and as a result there are few superbulls or superbears out there. Most pros are noncommittal, mildly bullish or bearish. No one is expecting a huge trend. This is the perfect environment for an up-a-lot year.

We will soon begin the fourth year of this bull market. According to my research, fourth years have averaged 20% returns and sometimes have been much bigger. So it is best to think of the directionless daze the market suffered in 2011 as the pause that refreshes before the bull resumes.”

” Last year, I warned” and what about 2008, Ken ? You have forgotten to warn us, haven’t you? And what about your warning regarding the house crisis, don’t you remember ? You were telling us no house crisis. Do you remember when you were advocating more debts. And what about the court cases brought by some of your former clients ? I can not find anything on the Webb but I know that you have the reputation of being very good at suppressing the articles you do not like. Is it true ? Anyway let us know, please, your position about the court cases. I know that you are making a lot of efforts to approach new clients, it will be helpful for the future clients to know about the court cases and about your position. Tell them as well, as you have told me through your staff ,that you are an expert in Bears markets and explain them why you remain 100% in equities in 2008.

This story would be much improved by the addition of a short video showing him “wambling” his grotesque over-large hands all up in everyone’s collective grill.
