I’m not saying to ignore treachery.But for what ever reasons some people sing after holding secrets for money, freedom, relief off their chest.
That does not make it right or wrong. It is simply a human condition.
All I’m saying is we should work towards a reality where the secrecy is not needed.
Sure some will take advantage of this, but in time with consistent moral action that would dissipate.

And further, there is no “Reality where secrecy is not needed” while evil intent exists on the earth. To forgive such treachery because you believe some day secrets will be moot is like saying you don’t need any sunblock because someday the sun will be a dim white dwarf.
There is no “utopia” existant in human nature, and I hate to break it to you, there’s none coming. The irony is, if you don’t allow the good guys to keep secrets from the bad, you are only speeding the further destruction of a rule of law-based, free society.

The guy released info on a subject some will say is unconstitutional and border line fascist.
