I booked solid gains from a Monday night short position (from 3008 to 3018) covered yesterday afternoon and then another short last night (from 3020 to 3035) covered in this morning and then went back long (but got out before the afternoon ramp higher). Re-shorting again later? Yes, sir.
I do acknowledge it isn’t as easy as it sounds–but the volatility is a godsend for those who know what to do with it.
Matter of fact, right here right now at 3038 is a perfect start for a new short position. I feel much better being short now than Monday night.

I can chart SPX:WTIC on my end but again I don’t consider WTIC to be a major directional determinant at this phase.
There are lots of spots for shorts ..just don’t hold short waiting for the apocalypse and common sense to emerge …until the major indices agree. Killed it on LABD, NFLX short and MSFT puts …all sold this AM. Still short some MSFT and shorted AAPL near the close today.
