A Most Hideous Decline

De Ja Vu all over again.

XLU is rising through the rafters and stocks are plummeting through the floor boards. People are wrought with fear, panicked, running for exits inside funhouses without doors, just mirrors and margin clerks.

Massive declines in risk names, especially hacker stocks, because they taste better crispy.

My average down in CYBR proved to be a tad early, as it slides down the path towards hell, greased with the blood of those who bought before me. ONCE is a little resilient, if only for awhile. And AAPL is AAPL, a $700 billion Vampire Squid, hard to move, even harder to kill.

The rest of my stocks are on the grounds prepared for scorched earth exercises. Naturally, we’re bearing the full brunt of Europe’s ineptitude, just like in WW2. Sure, have us do all the heavy lifting and bleed for you, as you sit idle on the isles of Martinique sipping daiquiris. This all happening on the eve of the birth of a shit city called Paris is extraordinarily apropos.

Before you talk, you should know what I meant in the last paragraph, Re: Martinique.

Do any of you people read?

Martinique produces mucho rum, and the Vichy French on Martinique sat out WW2, presumably sipping daiquiris. However, the French did bring topless bathing to the West Indies so its not all bad. All this is making me thirsty for a gin and tonic.

Here comes the comeback…again…if anybody thinks these last few days are scorched, just imagine what it will be like when a real move lower occurs.

That’s the comedy of this market – down 200 for a brief moment and then right back to even is considered a panic, a problem, a move lower. I want to see 150 S&P points come out and then see where all these newly minted traders stand. One guy will have flipped at the right time and made millions while the other 9,999 will be wiped out entirely.

The Devil is lounging about the Martinique of the North…laughing at us all. I’m envious.

Some incredible bounces among Chinese stocks. Check out NTES and JD for example.

Today is the day to get back into China, IMO, at least for a big bear market rally. Nice spot on the charts, tremendous sentiment picture.
