I have errands to run this morning and sadly cannot be around for a few hours. My riot coverage on twitter produced some interested videos last night. Police tactics have changed and now circle around Sun Tzus Art of war, trapping the enemy, boxing them in, and then GASSING them. Quite incredible, really.
Looting continues, but has dissipated — so we rally to the moon on the specter of hope and REBUILDING!

It’s MUCH LESS about what is SAID. Racism in this country has been systemic, structural, and deeply entrenched.
The divisions have already been there. Politicians have always exploited them.
America is much less ruined/fucked up to people of color now than 50 or 100 years ago because we never stopped fighting for our rights (and, okay, the white race overall also gradually evolved–I give you that–while some of y’all keep trying to turning the clock back). And we won’t stop fighting till “liberty and justice for all” isn’t just some shit we make our offspring say at school.
yeah but nobody’s “fighting” effectively. protests make a mess. everyone go down to the bad cops house and lynch him and/or burn the house down. 150,000 gangbangers in chicago alone and you never see a legit honorable vendetta on any of these cops. just looting. everyone who wants justice is praying at home or yapping on TV as per usual while everyone outside is looking for free sneakers.
