INDEFATIGABLE: BET AGAINST LE FLY, LOSE YOUR LEGS

Market got real slow like molasses mid-afternoon and I saw it as clear as the day is long. Shorts ran out of steam and imploded, leaving room for retards to move in with margin accounts. We ran +100 NASDAQS since then and I positioned in 50% allocation — all trades and theories posted in real time in Exodus.

Today’s catch.

DRIP +1.8%
SOXS +3%
FAZ +6.2%
DRV +5.8%
NUGT +6.2%

If I didn’t have an army of 1,000+ traders to see me doing in real time, no one would believe me. See you tomorrow on the opening spike.

It’s really too bad that the ignorant masses don’t determine the COVID-19 death toll.

Just 1 week after I called it, Trup has boosted his estimate from 60k to 75-100k deaths, which means the 2020 death toll will probably be *at least* double that (150k-200k)

Did it ever occur to you that many thought that but didn’t want to shock the system?

Yes, I’m sure many of the experts think that. However, the vast majority of the public interpreted the “peak week” as “everything keeps getting better from here.”

Just look at the repsosne to my prediction on the blog. It’s always the same: derision and denial (becasue it’s bearish), then acceptance when Trump says it, and then people stop caring about anything bearish.

Should have bought MVIS up 147% today. Fly was all about this company back in the day circa 2007.

Accumulating net puts on today recovery. Bet against me and lose your balls like Piker Fly has done multiple times in the past.

The discovery over the weekend that airlines and such may be in some difficulty, was news that should have driven us up with more enthusiasm today. People looking for a quick May Day gap fill will be disappointed.

The wave of bankruptcies once the courts open should boost us to new highs.

I was thinking to close my shorts and going long too. Fuck that though! CDC is modeling 3K deaths a day in June. 3K A DAY! States will all watch Florida, Georgia to see their numbers grow and elderly demo death sky rocket. Vegas reopening will show the travel consumer is gone for the year.

I should have closed my shorts more quickly but still did fine.
The news was what I wanted this weekend but the announcement of 3t in bonds by end of June and that junk buying thing are such positives! The year is young.
So I did what the robinhooders are going to do: BUY!
I went from short AF to long. AF!
Heavy resistance below, insanity above but the markets can’t stay here.
Scalps for me. Might not be enough runway for straddles anymore. Chop chop

“Beating an old horse”; ” buy the rumor, sell the news”. MMs used WB “old news” to beat a beaten-down old horse. Crude saved the day, still, holding a lot of airlines and BA.
Oil is moving along with slow recovery news, WB is in sour mode, the old man left behind in a fast-moving market.

WB was probably laying in ambush for the cash-strapped but was front run by the FED! Nobody bats 1.000.
Good job Warren. Really. Buffet was a level above the rest as usual.
He WILL be back. I’ll probably fuck up and buy some options from him at some point

Me too. Bought from around 2 until the close. The market wants higher it seems. Nuts, but OK.

Market will try to open with a gap up tomorrow but then will be closed with a big red candle, cutting off all the fake longs on this board.

So far this year corporations have raised $807 billion in investment grade corporate debt offering.

Of course, companies raising almost a trillion dollars with no associated CAPEX budget is extremely BOOLISH. Companies blowing up their balance sheets just to make payroll always leads to great future earnings.

We have attained a certain lifestyle here in the US. FED and gov are providing the electricity to maintain that lifestyle as much as possible. Some of that electricity reaches every pocket and for more, you have to at least make an effort, like daring to buy this morning when everything was down. All this electricity brightens our lives to a varying degree, nobody will take this energy with them.
Look at Japan, soon they will have 100 yr bonds, who will redeem in 100 yrs when its population will have halved?
Yes, we can kick the can down the road to end of our lifespans.
