Let me give you a sequence of events.
I step into the office (my parlour) and bear witness to NBY sharply lower and TNA higher. I book both and move on. Seeing the market rip, I get a SEVERE case of FOMO. Extreme FAGGOTS of the first order talk scandalous horseshit online, only increasing my FOMO. I bear witness to gains and want to partake.
I have money to burn and cash to spend, so I delve in.
I get into an array of shit — space companies to plague ships. Immediately after I step in, Gov. Cuomo SHUTS IT ALL DOWN. Everyone has to stay inside now. Stocks get BTFO and I begin to regret living.
Instead of HODLing like a millennial edge lord, I sell it all and thank the Gods I made a keen and wise decision to REVENGE TRADE in NOVN — a Nitric Oxide play of degenerate proportions.
I am now 95% cash again, getting FOMO to sell it short and down but decided to write this blog instead in order to distract me.

It’s got way too much unpredictabel leverage.
Gold miners themsleves are highly volatile, based on the gold price, and then 3x on top of that is crazy. I woudl stick with ETFs priced directly related to Gold, like GLD. Maybe GLD options (if there is liquidity) or maybe UGLD if you want leverage?

There is a two week delay between efforts to slow the infection rate and seeing the results of those efforts.
The new infections we see now are the result of transmissions 2 weeks ago.
If the spike in new infections flattens out in two weeks, that shows the efforts taking place now are working.
If the infection rate in April does not flatten out, then we will know that the present tactics are not working.
Not sure it’s an actual spike in infection “rates” – more likely a result of earlier lack in test kits and finally testing some people. South Korea is way ahead of us with organized population proportionate testing. The hysteria is now multiplied by false US “infection increase” numbers.
If they were able to test everyone tomorrow – the “infection” rate would skyrocket but the death/mortality rate would likely drop to ~1.5% (excluding elderly or respiratory impaired) which is only about 3x worse than normal flu season. But since it’s infectious – the more people that have it, the more deaths than the normal flu. But it’s no Black Plague.

False, commonly accepted perception. Containment is impractical, does not work on respiratory viral infections. But politicians and doctor-politician will claim credit for doing “something”.
Many Americans are suspicious of vaccines but they do offer some protection. Over the years more people get their flu shot and flu seasons have been tamed but the elderly still die during flu season.
Repiratory virus is like IRS, you can run, hide but it will find you. You can isolate yourself in your private cave for 3 months but the moment you come out you will it will be waiting at the door. Your only protection is acquired immunity, from a vaccine or prior infection and your general state of health

one could say over-reaction will fuck the economy. it’s going to be a triage situation par excellence, take it now or later. at some point they’ll have to say who gets it gets it.
The only thing worse than watching from the outside and thinking you’re missing out on the recovery rally is being long on the inside while this market beats you like a pinata. There’s no way to give price estimates for most companies until we have clarity on how long this is going to go on. In the long run these companies are headed to 0 if this continues.
