In deferrence to the Fly, I’m not going to go into my usual updates.
However, here is a big picture item to think about:
***There are millions of mature investors and traders in their 30s that have never seen a bear market.***
All investors start out inherently bullish both by nature and through the system (financial media + restrictions on short selling). If those investors took (bullish risks) through leveraging concentrating on momemtum vs value, etc., they were handsomely rewarded and think they are pro-pickers. And contrary to older investors that have seen monetary losses (though recovered) through the past bear markets, they haven’t taken the lesson of “bear markets happen” but instead “bear markets always recover.” Of course, younger investors are also exactly the type that will flock to tech brands: Apple, Tesla, Netflix, etc.

One bad market crash/drawdown and you become cynical and conservative forever. Happened in 2000 and again in 2008. We’re certainly due.
