Note that most of the protests worldwide are not about rights and freedoms (Hong Kong being a notable exception), but about corruption of the ruling class.
Warren/Sanders/Trump are a case in point. Note that: Warren was once a Republcian, Trump was once a Democrat, and Sander is basically still a socialist Independant (DINO). However, they are all Populists railing on the swamp/establishment/1%ers (ironically, in Turmp’s case).
