Also, he’s managed the wars quite well, fomenting a new enemy in ISIS — which is Al Qaeda on steroids. Let’s not forget, the Middle East has been completely upended, which led to a disastrous migrant crisis into Europe. And, lastly, he’s managed to push America to the brink of war with Russia.
I’m sure there are many more prime examples of his ‘crisis free’ Presidency. But I’m being lazy now and have a sandwich to attend to.

Technically speaking, our average IQ compares favorably to most nations in the world. If you look at Mexico, for example, they run about 12 points lower than us and that is very close to the world average. Or take an outlier like Somalia which is 32 points lowers than us. You’ll see gpd per cap and all the other measures of quality of life closely follow the average IQ of a nation. So technically speaking we are significantly above average.

Yeah, IQ is an interesting topic. Norm McDonald is often pointed to as the smartest guy in Hollywood, although I’m not sure you can tell that by his jokes. Trump, Clinton, Obama and Bush Jr all hover around IQ 130 more or less which seems to be the sweetspot for US presidents.
The point was though, higher IQ countries are generally better places to live.

Yeah, Bush Jr is often estimated at 124. He had a lowish veberal IQ and a highish spatial, but the low veberal IQ made him seem pretty moronic. Note that SAT scores pre 1995 are a good proxy for IQ (post 1995 they added 100 to all scores.) Bush Jr’s was 1206 with a 566 verbal score.
I don’t have good sources. Obama did take an IQ test recently and scored a 102, which seems low. He’s probably 110 at least, but it would most likely be heavily weighted towards the verbal intelligence as is common with liberals.

Fly – lazy thinking again about the Middle East. Bush & The Congressional Hawks Iraq War (which includes Clinton) completely destabilized the Middle East and opened Pandora’s Box. That 8 year War from 2003 – 2011 was so devastating and led to such a breakdown in Law/Order, Infrastructure, etc that it created the perfect atmosphere for terrorism and mass migration to flourish. Obama definitely was weak on fixing the problems he inherited…but he definitely didn’t create the Middle East problems.
Obama was blocked by Congressional Republicans every step of the way every time he tried to do anything at all. It’s amazing that he was able to do anything constructive. And he was certainly less of a hawk than G W Bush was.
The GOP Congress was either hawkish or dovish, whatever would be the opposite of Obama on any particular occasion. They kept calling him “weak” for not being hawkish enough. But then “Oh, he wants to help the anti-Assad rebels, so that Assad will be stopped from slaughtering people and sending others fleeing, filling the world with refugees? Well then Obama’s too hawkish and we GOP folks won’t support him there.”
Republicans were far far more interested in bashing Obama and calling him wrong, and blaming him for things, than in doing anything constructive for the American people. But in spite of that, the Right Wing fake news like Fox and Breitbart successfully blamed the Dems for every problem. So the American people responded by voting in Republicans for both pres and both Houses of Congress. Well, for pres most did vote for HRC, but, you know, electoral college.
So here we are, at the place where the Right Wing propaganda we are immersed in brings us. God help us all.
