Merry Pagan X-Mas, iBankCoiners

I physically recoil from the pagan holidays, nefarious schemes designed by Hollywood and the Coca-Cola corporation to empty my coffers into the pockets of local retailers. Christmas hasn’t been an enjoyable experience for me since adulthood, especially since I’ve been a father since the delicate age of 20 years old.

Each and every year, “The Fly” toils about the shopping mall for weeks on end, searching for pagan gifts to bestow upon spoiled members of my family, close friends, and total and complete strangers that have been deemed worthy by authorities higher than me. The result of all this holiday cheer is a total collapse of personal virility. Life itself appears to be very bleak and I loathe for a future timeline when the pagan holidays have been eliminated from the human psyche.

That being said, the pageantry of the holidays are very nice. I do enjoy a nice living tree shedding like fucking mad inside of my home and, of course, the enormous electricity bill ‘enjoyed’ by the litany of lights festooned on both the outside and inside of my personal storage facility. Travel is always ‘to be looked forward to’, as I’ve always dreamt of enduring bumper to bumper traffic en route to Brooklyn (Mom). Since I’m always driving, drinking is strictly prohibited, as killing people with my oversized gas guzzler is, apparently, against the law.

After racing home on Xmas eve, just in time for Santa Claus, I am dispatched very early on xmas morning to lay the groundwork for festivities. A great feast is to be prepared and entertainment for our many guests must be established — in spite of feeling Jeb Bush’d, low energy, cucked out surrender monkey’d.

However, I do wish you and yours a very happy xmas and hope that your experience is, inexorably, worse than mine.

Pro-tip: Sirius satellite is playing old xmas classic broadcasts on channel 148 this week — beckoning back to a time in America when the Coca-Cola company was still rumored to imbue their poisonous soda water with actual cocaine, rendering its customers magnanimous super-humans — both invincible immortals and powerful geniuses of the first magnitude.

Tips hat.

Everybody have a Very Merry Christmas (no Mickey Mouse) and enjoy the family(ies).
Next year will be a different time of year for us as I am about to be a first time Grandpa Caddy (ala Grandpa Fly ) with son (his wife) expecting and the daughter going to have twins (in NYC- Upper east side) in an 800 sq. ft. place (should be interesting).

Ha! Twins! That’s how we started out too, unbeknownst to us until the doctor said, “I think we have another one in here”.
(back in the days before ultrasound machines found their way to the sticks of Northern Michigan)
Talk about a HOOOOLY SHEEEEIT moment. Madness ensued…
They were born on my 20th birthday, which falls on the 20th of the month.

Merry Christmas to you and yours, Fly. I’ve really enjoyed reading your musings throughout the year. You truly are a very gifted writer and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve literally laughed out loud. Well, here’s to a HEALTHY, happy and prosperous New Year to everyone. Time to help prep our own personal storage facility (love that one!) for guests. Thank you again for a great year here Fly.

    Dr. Fly,

You have had a great year in spite of your stubborn trading recently.
Your website was informative, enlightening and enjoyable (as always) during the run-up to the election. For that I want to thank you. Being Jewish, I have always felt a little estranged by the pagan spectacle that is Christmas. Beyond religion, I too have felt it is a conspiracy of retailers to empty our wallets. I am a poor gift giver who doesn’t enjoy the Holiday crush of traffic. I am a Bah Humbug kind of guy anyway. Even when I was a kid I hated parades, 4th of July shows and the rest of it. But, I do love the sights and smells of the Holiday season. I just wish they would get rid of most of these worthless college football bowl games. At least New Year’s eve and day are filled with the preeminent games again. Lastly, I have more respect for you now learning that you were a young father. It is so tough to carve out a living these days, much less support a family. To you and all the readers, Happy Holidays and a Healthy, Happy New Year. May your trading be prosperous:)

    Merry Christmas Fly.

I’m on board with the uranium trade. Spot uranium is trading at levels not seen since 2004, and current uranium stockpiles are depleting. Miners have been shutting down operations the past few years as it’s too expensive to mine with uranium at these levels.

60 new nuclear reactors are currently being built, most since the 1980’s. 167 new ones are “on-order or planned”, and 345 are “proposed” (not all of these will be built of course). When Japan crawls out of their safe space and fires up reactors they shut down after Fukushima, that will increase demand as well. Germany hates on nuke reactors, but the rest of Europe wants them. We might be experiencing a nuclear boom (pun-intended) in the next several years as China and Russia are already going gangbusters building reactors and the rest of the world wants to catch up.

A nuclear arms-race is just icing on the cake.
