What a Hillary Clinton Win Means for Wall Street

Most of my advisor friends are conservative, but they’re also greedy pigs who only think about themselves. As such, many of them want H. Clinton to get elected. Before you flip out on a rant, understand that most people just want to do blow, drink a few gallons of wine, and unwind on a nude beach in Greece. The idea of a Trump presidency is a headache for people who have much to lose.

My populist bend has more to do with growing up inside of the sewers of Brooklyn, before it was gentrified into a hipster haven, than anything else that might’ve swayed me over the past year.

For a long time, I wanted the status quo. I thought it was good for me because stocks went up and I made a living from their appreciation. But in 2014, I started to view things differently. I saw the corrupt nature of what the Fed was doing as unnatural. On top of that, companies were missing earnings by wide margins and macro trends started to really point lower — yet stocks continued to edge higher.

I think the Yellen Fed and their feckless and asinine approach to monetary policy, with all of their fucking speeches and lies, put me over the top — John Rambo style.

But in the event Hillary gets elected, I won’t lament over it, not even for a second. My approach to most things in life is to expect the very worst, making favorable outcomes nothing but upside surprises. I realize that’s a very gloomy way to wade through life; but it has worked for me thus far and I’ve used this cognitive dissonance with great success — steadying an otherwise volatile and unpredictable vessel.

Should Clinton win, and based upon today’s polls it’s looking like the probable outcome, I anticipate Yellen will remain at the Fed. Monetary policy will remain static, healthcare reform will be increased, this time aiming at profit margins for big pharma in order to help out the struggling Obamacare. Our foreign policy will surround itself around a neocon agenda, targeting Russia as our biggest enemy.

In other words, more of the same.

Growth will be moribund and multi nationals will do well. Stocks will rise and the debt burden will expand.

Maybe it’s a good thing, although I doubt it. Banks will rise and solar will get hammered. Most people would think solar would do well under Clinton. But you’d be forgetting the fact that she’s owned by Saudi Arabia. Either way, as market participants, it’s important that we figure out how to prepare for Clinton and the easiest path towards making money.

The election season has been very distracting, and fun, if I’m being honest. Bear in mind, a Clinton win might already be baked into the market. Big money has never taken Trump seriously, so you may not get any immediate upside upon her election.

I remember in your blogs you acknowledged the Fed manipulation was there and purposeful but we knew it made stocks go up so it was a good thing. What changed?

I still want stocks to go up!

C’mon Cap’n, you REALLY trust the mainstream media’s “polls”??? Even as I write this, CNBC is once again interupting market discussion to again bash Trump and coronate Queen Hillary. CNBC is literally trash talking Trump EVERY 5 minutes ALL DAY so far (Clinton is a sure winner, Trump is called to quit race, Trump is evil, fake ‘debates between a Trump hater and a Clinton supporter etc). It is comical. Maybe the people aren’t QUITE as stupid as the MSM thinks they are, don’t be so sure Trump won’t get more votes. My concern is assuming he does, will the ‘fix be in’ – and maybe thats why the MSM is trying to brainwash us into ‘expecting’ her coronation, so that a Trump win can somehow be disputed…

If it wasn’t so blatant I might could stomach this, but as the pirate says CNBC is a spoon feeding propaganda machine…No way I can handle this for four years…The cable TV box gets returned on November 9th

Yes, for all practical purposes the Presidential election is in practically in the bag for Hillary. I agree that we should focus on how to benefit financially from that choice.

The worst case scenario right now would be Republican loses that prevent gridlock. The market wants the following to control spending.
      Hillary – White House
Senate – Republican or maybe 1-2 Dem majority
House – Republican, if this goes blue, market will not be happy.

Hillary knows bull markets win elections, the Fed is now like the Supreme Court, a political institution. I’m just not sure Hillary can keep the economy/bull running for 4 more years, unemployment 5%, housing, oil. Is there really much more to go on those trends?

But the goal is to make money and for now Oct/Nov/Dec looks seasonally bullish.
Absent an attack, meteor, missile, which can happen no matter who is in charge, anyone would be a fool to let a political view cloud their vision and sit on 100% cash right now.

Trump took a junket with Bill’s pedophile friend Epstein 22 years ago. When he saw what was going on he left immediately. Get ready folks, the rape claim is coming. But, maybe Trump has more on old Bill’s 13 trips with Epstein. They might not be able to go with it.

This is the most divisive election in history. Trump wins, Russia blamed and the fringe Trumpsters get the go ahead and behave like animals, couple with the libs discontent and social unrest ensues. Hillary wins, the fix was in and all the Trumpsters riot causing social unrest.

Following this election it will be a different country either way.

I think it’s very faulty: (and Lefly is very faulty) to think the H elected means bull/up, we go up. THEY ARE BIDING TIME!! LOL. THEY ARE CLEARLY BIDING TIME. The programmers programming the stock market, are clearly currently, the last few months, just/merely biding time. I read (reed not red) that solidly in the action they are getting/making/providing. They absofuckinglutely know, they are merely biding time with index levels.
That leads to the overall notion, (that some of us have been correct on), it is so fully-and-completely, propaganda, tool, a propaganda tool, a tool of perception in your fucking face.
