This is Only the 2nd Inning of the Unraveling; Let Me Show You My Ark

We’ve got all sorts of zebra, jackals and parrots on the ark. It was built to save mankind, and vicious animals, from the coming storm. By design, it’s impenetrable and impervious to deleterious weather conditions. I’ve been planning for ‘an event’ since December of 2015. This might come as a surprise to many of you, especially those who know that I’ve always had a bullish bias, but I think stocks can drop 30% from present levels, if central banks lose control.

That’s a big if, isn’t it?

Back to the ark.

This is how it looks.

And this is the storm. Right now, it’s more like a morning drizzle without an umbrella.

All eyes should be on the yen-dollar cross and crude. Should crude continue to slide, I guarantee everyone long the market will be fucked, without discrimination.

Beautiful rendering of the ark, makes me proud to be a Christian advocate of tolerance.
A 30% drop would have serious political impact, and be a heck of a buying opportunity.
One of the more difficult trades is to stay in the ark for a few months without eating all the corn.
September, October may be a rich month for planting/buying

Your relative hiatus from the market has brought about an oracle like clairvoyance. Great foresight.

Will citizens on the ark be allowed to defend themselves with muskets and AR-15 weaponry against pirates on the high seas ? Or will the captain ban such nonsense and send all who ask to the gallows ?

Fiery oration Fly. You’re putting the fear of God into these sinners.

A long time ago, I said to a girl, “let me show you my ark.” 28 years and three kids later, she’s not interested in seeing my ark.

“stocks can drop 30% from present levels, ****if central banks lose control.**** ”

Well, yeah – quite a qualification. Do you see the market losing faitth in CB by December?

I don’t know about anything medium to long term, but if this market keeps getting suppressed all the way up to the Brexit vote and VXX stay nears highs, we’re going to get one heck of a post-vote rally almost whatever the outcome (though if the Brexit happens it might include a flush).

It’s mostly a matter of timeframe. In the last month, both have been positioned correctly.

While The Fly *predicted* the market would be crashing through May and June, his conservateive play on this was to hold TLT (and then add Gold later). That position has played out well, even whil the market has stayed range-bound.

OA has been predicting a grind up to all-time highs, and called several good rallies in various areas lately. A lot of his positions moved against him late last week and into this one, but I can only assume that he locked in his profits or had stop losses and probably came out ahead overall.

For UK, as put by the PM, it will mean “years of painful negotiations and a poorer deal than we have today.” I don’t actually know the details, but for the global stock market, I don’t think it shouldn’t matter that much.

The issue is that it further weakens the EU. What happens if German leaves? Their citizens don’t seem to happy with the EU or Merkle.

So what? They work out a trade deal. I don’t think it calls for building an ark of gold.
