Dreadfully, a British lawmaker was slain today, while campaigning for England to remain in the EU. As a result, both the leave and remain camps have decided, at least temporarily, to suspend their campaigns. However tragic it may be, one person’s life isn’t going to support the sands that are quickly shifting beneath the people who want to keep Britain in the EU. For some odd reason, markets have taken this slight slither of hope and run with it.
The Dow has reversed triple digit losses and is now higher. Both gold and bonds are retracing their steps and look poor. And oil… well oil is still fucked–off by 3%.
The yen is still 1.6% stronger v the dollar and nothing has been resolved, but a brief reprieve from a harmonious unwind of nonsense that will, once and for all, sever the markets ties with the utterly incompetent Federal Reserve.

Kill one of your own to garnish sympathy from undecided voters and other non-engaged types. “Shame on you for saying that!” We are living in a world where conspiracy theories make more sense than official stories. Let go off my puts and will buy them back once Bremain is priced in.
I didn’t say that, you imbecile.
Apologies in advance if I misread you.
lol I’M the one saying it
It’s getting easier and easier to believe conspiracy theories. Took about two seconds to think “Huh, globalists want UK to remain in the UN… what’s one life if it acutely helps their cause?”
In the calculus of neo cons, CIA et al..we’re all just potential cannon fodder/martyrs…
Well, that is true of the neo-cons since they have certainly demonstrated this right up front and before the public eye.
Since the CIA operates in secrecy, it’s hard to tell about them. They could possibly be a mixture– with some neo-cons types mixed with some people attempting to be competent public servants.
There’s such a habit of government bashing in the U.S. today, that it’s easy to jump to the conclusion that all politicians and government employees are evil. But I don’t think that is so.
I think even most neo-cons probably believe they are doing the right thing. It’s just that they are so frightened and aggressive that they very often end up following the procedure of:
“Ready, fire, aim.”
That, of course, puts soldiers in harm’s way for no defensible reason.
And we’re now ending up tripledigit because price discovery is now just a predetermined outcome every day plugged into a master pc named dave
