Wait, did Cramer just admit that placing tariffs on Chinese goods entering the United Steaks, in order to protect U.S. industry, would make Alcoa ‘zoom’? I thought tariffs were evil and free trade was beneficial for helping ‘create moar jobs’?
Imagine if we had a President who made it his duty to protect all industries and not just the one’s cherry picked by the influential few.

Yes, I am imagining overturning Citizens United and having publicly financed elections, instead of government of the Biggest Campaign Donors, by the Biggest Donors, for the Biggest Donors. I think it’s high time that it perished from the earth, and in particular from the U.S.
Bernie does not believe in “free trade” agreements that screw over American workers, just as Trump does not. But neither of them are likely to become president. Because we have this system that we have maintained, a system that insures that the presidency and the Congress will be bought by, and sold to, the highest bidders.
Until we change that, we are unlikely to see anything different from what we’ve seen in the past.
Trump has a much greater chance than Bernie.
If Bernie doesn’t make it, you have no choice but to vote Trump.
U R expecting Trump will somehow get the GOP nomination, in spite of the fact that he does not take orders from all the GOP donors? The GOP donors will certainly do everything they can to block that.
Frog
I only lay out a hypothetical scenario.
Taking the nomination away from Trump would be equal to stealing or canceling the election, in favor of appointing a new leader. He is up by millions of votes and his delegate lead over Cruz is massive.
Agree with you completely Fly….How can Repubs erase The Donald without looking totally EVIL? & Frog – you ARE OK …always make VERY good Arguments!
FLY…I love reading your thoughts HOURLY & DAILY. YOU ARE BRILLIANT!
Fly, Trump is like a magic 8-ball politician: totally random. We know Hillary is another continuation of the Reagan/Bush/Clinton/Bush/Obama policies. So a vote for Hillary is a loss, but a know quantity. Let me rephrase:
If the US (not just the US economy) was a stock
Bernie: long OTM call, expires in 2020
Hillary: Calendar – short January 2017 put, long January 2020 put
Cruz: ITM put
Trump: sell your house and buy lotto tickets, because who trusts the markets.
