People are going crazy in this country.
A flight attendant on a United Airlines plane deployed the emergency exit slide after landing at Bush International. She then proceeded to drop her bag off the plane and slide down the fucking chute, like the lunatic she apparently is. After reaching the ground, she picked up her bag and walked away.
Passengers on the plane were dumbfounded by what they just witnessed. It must’ve been like a scene straight out of the movie Airplane.
UAL shit-canned her.

She didn’t put anybody’s life in danger. She just gave the finger to a company that has probably treated her like shit for 20 years and did something fun.

Yup, I’m pretty sure she knew the consequences before she even opened the door. She had one foot out the door figuratively before she did physically.
UAL has the worst flight attendants.. old and rude is not great combination. But like her style chutes and ladders style.

The first to do this was the gay JetBlue guy. Now it’s a female… Same thing. You’ll be long dead before you see a straight guy sliding down an emergency chute.
Well, at least not a straight guy that is too insecure in his manhood to do something that his equally insecure peers will judge him negatively for.
It’s kind of like the beer vs magarita thing, where certain groups have decided that the more “manly” thing to do is to fall in line and succumb to peer pressure.

Agreed. When I said, “Real men do what they want,” I didn’t mean to imply that were selfish and/or self-centered. I just meant that they don’t let society dictate the rules, hence they drink whatever they want, but in moderation
Because, sometimes, “I effing quit” seems inadequate.
To be fair, it’s a pretty punk rock exeunt from a shitty job. I’ve wanted to do something like that before, just didn’t have the emergency slide available.
