If you like stomach ulcers, the oil sector is for you. Following yesterday’s trecherous move lower, oil stocks, save SDRL, are moving higher again.
Seasonally speaking, oil stocks do well through April.
Today’s 4% move is just another day at the office.
The wall of worry is indeed steep. It’d be interesting to see if WTI can get into the $40s again. In order to truly stave off the debt crisis that looms, prices need to go much higher than $38. It’s nice to see crude trade higher, if you’re CHK. But, ultimately, you need to see WTI back in the $60s to get excited about distressed oil stocks again.

I was really rooting for the collapse of all world economies
I will be disappointed af if that’s all there was
I think a lot of people missed this rally and want a chance to get back in.
I root for the consumer not the oil companies or moron credit-lending banks. Let’s hope oil falls quickly again.

America is the root of all terror. America overthrow Iran’s democratically elected Prime Minister Mohammad Mosaddegh in 1953.
When in America black people were not allowed to vote and white ku klux klan used to lynching black people all the time. Black people are still treated worse than pigs.
America helped create SAVAK and killed thousands of Iranians.
America is the only country shoot down Iranian civil plane killing all 290 people.
It sounds like you are from Iran? The U.S. has made some serious mistakes in its past history of dealings with Iran. However, most of us Americans would like for the U.S. to have a mutually beneficial and peaceful relationship with Iran in the future.
The U.S. government is not the root of all terror. We do some good things and we also make some mistakes We have made some progress in racial issues over the years. We do still have some racial problems, especially in the way some black people have been treated by police. Two of our current presidential candidates– the Democratic candidates– are promising to address and resolve these problems.
Here is a film made about Iran by an American who owns a travel business.
