With a retail like allocation of 50% $TRUE and 50% $BABA and 0% cash, my account decline maxed out at 7.0% through the market’s freak out (so far). I like these stocks.
They’ve been #hazmatlike.
But do they like you back
No stocks like me, that’s why I need to hold them longer than most. First they run away from me to the downside, then they come back and I hold them longer until they are forced to like me and do the right thing. Then I sell them like the pieces of the overall illusion they really are.

They will short this bounce all the way to 1950. We will retest these lows and they will short more. Finally, the S&P will finish the year at an all-time closing high. End game.
When I was 17, “V” had a different meaning entirely.
IWM is getting to 1 or 2 more pts and it encounters resistance and POTENTIAL reversal. When I said the market wasn’t going down, I meant IWM, didn’t figure it would outperform THAT much! Not going bearish or anything, but cashing out my 401k etc today and just playing options.
Your last statement was very bearish and I supported you on it. We were both wrong, at least for the time being. Although, I never acted on this prediction.
I meant a setup for later, not like today, maybe tomorrow though, that’s why I went cash on my big stack.
Like I don’t want to get burned in case I’m wrong, but I’m not trying to get greedy either. If this hold up, I got 6% on my 401k in 3 days, not a bad snipe. 😀
A $TRUE friend
A couple days ago I said we would likely need a Dow down 500 pt day to bottom. Dow was down 460 at yesterday’s low.
The scarier the sell off the more likely a rally that rips the face off the bears. Let the face ripping begin.
Nice 20+ mile bike ride in 78 degrees with a Carolina Blue sky and come back to see I did okay on my Rydex AM exchange (although the day ain’t over).
May keep a little for a swing on the GOOG earnings (NAZ 2X long) but switch the rest back to MMA. Russell 2000 looking tired.
